Ozone - Ambient Ozone Monitors
2B-Technologies - Model 106-L - Ambient Ozone Monitors
The Model 106 series of ozone monitors was designed specifically for the industrial ozone industry to cover four different ozone concentration ranges by varying the optical path length. The ranges are: -L (low, 0-100 ppm); -M (medium, 0-1,000 ppm); -MH (medium high, 0-10,000 ppm, 0-1 vol%) and -H (0-20 wt%, 0-14 vol%). The Model 106 series is designed as an "ozone monitor on a board" in which nearly all of the components are mounted directly to the printed circuit board with very few wire connections, making these instruments highly robust and very easy to service.
2B-Technologies - Model 202 - Ambient Ozone Monitors
The 2B Technologies Model 202 Ozone Monitor™ is designed to enable accurate and precise measurements of ozone ranging from low ppb (precision of ~1.5 ppb) up to 250,000 ppb (0-250 ppm) based on the well-established technique of absorption of UV light at 254 nm. The Model 202 Ozone Monitor™ is lightweight (5.5 lb., 2.5 kg.) and has a low power consumption (12V DC, 0.60 amp, 7.2 watt) relative to conventional instruments and is therefore well suited for applications such as:
2B-Technologies - Model 205 - Dual Beam Ozone Monitor
The Model 205 Dual Beam Ozone Monitor makes use of two detection cells to improve precision, baseline stability, and response time. In the Dual Beam instrument, UV light intensity measurements Io (ozone-scrubbed air) and I (unscrubbed air) are made simultaneously. Combined with other improvements, this made it possible to reduce the time between ozone measurements to 2 seconds, making our instrument the fastest UV-based ozone monitor on the market, while still retaining the small size, weight, and power requirements of our popular Model 202 Ozone Monitor. Fast measurements are especially desirable for aircraft and balloon measurements where high spatial resolution is needed. For 10-s averaging, a precision of 1.0 ppb is achieved. Alternatively, one can choose to average more points internally to obtain even better precision.
2B-Technologies - Model 211 - Scrubberless Ozone Monitor
The new Model 211 Scrubberless Ozone Monitor uses the proven ultraviolet (UV) absorption method in combination with our patented (US Patent No. 8,395,776 B2) gas-phase scrubber technology to measure ozone virtually free of interferences. The instrument is ideally suited for measurements of ozone in heavily polluted air where interference is likely from particulates, mercury, or VOCs. The Model 211 combines the stability of our proven dual beam ozone monitors with our selective scrubber technology to provide accurate ozone measurements in the most polluted air. The enhanced optical path length of 30 cm provides a precision of better than 0.5 ppb for 10-second measurements, and the instrument can output new ozone measurements as often as every 2 seconds. The Model 211 Scrubberless Ozone Monitor has been designated by the EPA as a Federal Equivalent Method (FEM): EQOA–0514–215.
2B-Technologies - Model 211-G - Ambient Ozone Monitors
The new Model 211-G Ozone Monitor uses the proven ultraviolet (UV) absorption method in combination with our patented heated graphite scrubber technology (U.S. Patent No. 10,295,517) to measure ozone virtually free of interferences. The instrument is ideally suited for measurements of ozone in heavily polluted air where interferences are likely from particulates, mercury, and/or VOCs.
2B-Technologies - Model POM - Personal Ozone Monitor
2B Tech has taken the next step in miniaturization of UV-based ozone monitors by developing the Personal Ozone Monitor or "POM". The basic POM unit has dimensions of 4 x 3 x 1.5 inches and weighs only 0.8 lb / 1.0 lb without/with battery (360 g / 450 g ). It has a built in GPS so that ozone measurements may be logged continuously along with geographic location. By folding the optical path in the shape of a "U," it was possible to achieve the same path length in the POM as in the Models 202, 205, and 106-L and thus have similar precision and accuracy (~1.5 ppb). The POM has been designated by the US EPA as a Federal Equivalent Method (FEM) for ozone: EQOA–0815–227.
2B-Technologies - Model 106-LFT - Flow Through Ozone Monitor
This manual covers the Model 106-LFTFlow Through Ozone Monitor used for measurement of Lowozone concentrationsin air over a wide dynamic range extending froma few parts per billion by volume (ppb) toan upper limit of100parts-per-million by volume (ppm). New editions of this manual are complete revisions that reflect updates to the instrument itself, as well as clarifications, additions, and other modifications of the text.
