The single-point current meter series are a completely new generation of current meters based on the SEAGUARD® datalogger platform and the ZPulse® multi-frequency Doppler Current Sensor (DCS). SEAGUARD® Products are based on modern technology and are the basic modules of our underwater observatory. They may be used as a multi-parameter instrument in the sea and in freshwater and feature a modular plug-and-play architecture. The new single-point, Recording Current Meter(RCM) series featuring the new ZPulse™, multi-frequency Doppler Current Sensor and CANBus based AiCap smart sensor technology.

The SeaGuard DCP (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler) measures currents and can be extended with wave direction, oxygen, conductivity, turbidity, temperature, and serial sensors.

The optimal solution to measure directional waves, currents and water quality in one instrument. The SeaGuardII DCP Wave is a 600kHz Doppler Current Profiler able to measure directional wave parameters and currents from a bottom mounted installation. The Acoustic Wave software 5759 used by the DCPS implements unique features to improve the wave measurement accuracy by optimizing the signal to noise ratio. Maximum deployment depth is 40m in normal scatter conditions.The SeaGuardII DCP Wave is available as a self-recording instrument. It can be easily integrated into a real-time system offering reliable two-way communication.

A self-recording dedicated current meter with Bluetooth for communications and data retrieval - now with the possibility to integrate a pressure sensor! The RCM Blue is a self-recording Current Meter which also measures water temperature in salt or fresh water, and a battery container with battery capacity up to 70Ah.
