Wave buoys effectively measure currents and waves in a dynamic environment is challenging. Aanderaa has optimized existing sensors and developed new ones to meet requirements from operational users and researchers accurately. We provide accurate real-time data from our own DB1750 Buoy platform. Combining state of the art sensors from the Aanderaa Ocean Waves, Ocean Currents, and Water Quality product lines with the Real-Time Communication system provide you with a versatile solution for measuring Hydrological, Meteorological, and Water Quality parameters all from a single platform.

Smart Sub Observatory is a flexible platform enabling tailor-made solutions, both with sensors from Aanderaa and other suppliers. They can be used off-the-shelf or customized to better cover application requirements.

Getting real-time data from the field can be challenging with missing coverage, low bandwidth obstacles, and power limitations. Realizing that every data point count, Aanderaa has developed the integrated Real-Time Communication System that provides efficient tools for data collection and control of field instrumentation. Unlike most data collection systems, the Aanderaa Real-Time Communication System encompasses end-to-end solutions, from the sensors all the way to the data presentation and analysis.

The Sailbuoy is a long endurance, wind driven Autonomous Surface Vessel (ASV). This low cost ASV solves the problem of collecting upper ocean current measurements and other oceanographic data in remote areas.
