Acciai MELLA srl is a company of prestigious tradition born more than 50 years ago, with a big and specific experience in the field of stainless steel scrap, high speed steel scrap and nickel alloys, thanks to the charismatic figure of Giorgio Vercesi, founder and chairman of the company until 1997, when he unexpectedly passed away. Over the years, we have seen many changes and have recognised that to provide long term viability and continued commercial success, it was essential we react to such changes and acknowledge that certain ideas and traditions would have to alter as both the environment and customer circumstances continue to modify.
