Standard Flares for O&G Production

AEREON - Air-Assist Flares

AEREON`s Cyclone Series Air-assisted flares are comprised of two risers (waste gas and air) and a blower system that provides supplemental combustion air. Air is fed by the blower into the air riser, to eventually combine with the process gas, which passes through its own secondary riser and is distributed at the flare tip through a proprietary AEREON Starfire burner tip. Upon mixing at the flare tip, the high-pressure air flow causes turbulence in the waste gas stream, improving mixing, and ultimately combustion efficiency. These flares generally dispose of heavier waste gases and/or gases with low supply pressures, which have a greater tendency to smoke.

AEREON DuraSpark - Heavy Duty Pilot

The new Model Duraspark 1000 Heavy Duty Pilot was developed specifically for the rigors of the oil-patch, providing additional layers of protection and heat shielding of critical components. The transformer box has also been placed at grade (vs. near the flare tip) reducing heat stress of these critical components. Available with retractable packages, the DuraSpark 1000 will improve system reliability and life expectancy.

AEREON - Hurricane Pilot

The Model 435 Hurricane Pilot is the newest generation of pilots from AEREON offering heavy duty performance, including API537 tested and proven performance in rain and winds up to 100MPH. It come equipped with 3 ignition sources: Indirect Spark Ignition, Traditional Flame Front Generator System, and Direct Spark Ignition. Pilot monitoring is provided by 2 methods: Thermocouple and/or ionization flame detection.

AEREON - Liquid Seal Drum

The liquid seal drum is a specially designed vessel containing a predetermined level of water in the base of the drum. The main purpose of the liquid seal drum is to stop flame propagation in the unlikely event of flashback. The liquid seal also acts as a large check valve so that gas can not travel upstream for any reason. A third function of the liquid seal is to disentrain liquid droplets. Liquid seals can be designed as independent vessels or as an integral part of flare risers.

Thermal Oxidation/Incineration Systems

Aereon Firecat - Direct Fired Thermal Oxidizers

AEREON`s FIRECAT Thermal Oxidizers are simplest combustion devices that uses natural draft or forced draft burners and designed to maintain a specific destruction temperature and residence time to ensure thorough destruction efficiencies (98-99.99%). A FIRECAT system precisely monitors and controls the flow of air, assist gas, in order to obtain prescribed temperatures in the combustion chamber. This type of equipment is ideal for sensitive areas that require low emissions, reduced flame visibility, minimal heat and noise, ease of emissions sampling, and smokeless combustion. Depending on the end user process and footprint these can be vertical or horizontal configurations.

AEREON - Recuperative Thermal Oxidizers

AEREON`s recuperative thermal oxidizers are complex incineration systems that are designed to destroy volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and hazardous air pollutants that are emitted from various processes. These oxidizers include heat recovery modules to preheat combustion air and incoming waste process streams to minimize fuel consumption for economical operation. Primary advantage of the unit is low emissions and efficient combustion efficiency with low fuel consumption. Destruction efficiencies up to 99.9% can be achieved.

AEREON - Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers

AEREON`s regenerative thermal oxidizers (RTO) are designed to provide maximum thermal efficiency while maintaining effective VOC/HAP. AEREON`s RTOs are equipped with engineered high efficiency heat recovery beds for high heat recovery thus operating on very low fuel consumption. These systems are used in low solvent loading with high exhaust flow rates.

AEREON - Catalytic Thermal Oxidizers

AEREON`s Catalytic Thermal Oxidizers/Catalytic Incinerators are designed to destruct hazarous air pollutants and volatile organic compounds in an effective manner. Basic design utilizes a catalyst to promote oxidation of the compounds and destruction is achieved at a lot lower temperature (600° F - 800° F) than a direct thermal oxidizer (1400° F - 1800° F). Destruction efficiencies up to 99.9% can be achieved. Primary advantage of AEREON`s catalytic oxidizer is lower fuel requirements thus reducing the overall emission footprint.
