PropertyPlus is a user friendly online health and safety database system that has been developed with the input of two of the largest property companies in the UK, to help manage health and safety data for multiple portfolios and individual properties and to monitor compliance across entire portfolios. PropertyPlus allows clients to actively manage health and safety issues within their premises. The system is populated by our consultants on completion of health and safety, fire safety and water risk assessments. Asbestos Surveys are also attached to the system as static documents. Clients can add their own actions to the system. Items that require regular servicing or inspection will automatically become due for action at the appropriate time and the system can be set up to provide e-mail reminders of these.

The HSE place increasing responsibility on clients and their agents to ‘co-operate and co-ordinate’ health and safety with contractors. Even a basic check of contractors’ safety credentials requires expertise and plenty of patience.

Alcumus SM&MS have developed a stand-alone PropertyPlus module that allows you to build an audit report bespoke to your needs. The audit form can be completed electronically on site using apple or android based handheld devices. The app allows the user to undertake a short answer audit or inspection, add comments and photographs to produce a simple and robust form without the need for amendments or re-writing when back at the office. The completed form can then be saved into the PropertyPlus system that will allow trends and issues to be reported. In addition to the above, the audit module has a unique offline capability, allowing inspections to be completed on site without an active internet connection to PropertyPlus. This means that the audit module is extremely cost effective and does not need an expensive mobile contracts.
