Minimising Environmental Impact
We have efficient recycling and waste management processes in operation across our business and provide our staff, where possible, with environmentally friendly resources to undertake their work. We also strive to work with local suppliers and resources as far as possible.

Scotland Offices

Our Inverness office is located in the city centre providing access to sustainable travel options for staff and clients.

Our Edinburgh office is located centrally, next to Haymarket train station, providing the ability to travel sustainably. 95% of our Edinburgh consultancy staff travel to work via train, bus, bike or on foot.

Wales Office

Our award winning 850m2 timber clad office in Mold, North Wales, has been accredited under the BRE Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) as `excellent`.

North England Office

Our office in County Durham is located in close proximity to the local railway station, encouraging sustainable travel.

We joined the Government`s Cycle to Work scheme in order to promote healthier and more sustainable journeys to work. We also encourage business travel by train, bus or car share wherever possible.

In total, over a third of our consultancy staff currently cycle or walk to work!

Community Support

Support in the field

Atmos Consulting has donated the time of one of our experienced conservationists to educate field officers in countries such as Bhutan, South Africa and China to advise on the best methods of protecting endangered species such as Cranes, Giant Squirrels and Leaf-nosed bats.

Scottish Highlands

As part of our commitment to the local area, and our passion for cycling, Atmos Consulting sponsors a range of cycle sportive events. The races take place in the north of Scotland and are some of the toughest and most challenging cycling series in the UK, testing competitors` stamina and physical determination to the extreme.

North Wales

We recognise the need to educate the future generation and get them interested in their local environment.

We fully support Flintshire County Council`s forward thinking approach to environmental management and are sponsoring their Washed Up On The Shore campaign which encourages youngsters to learn to recognise the key species of the local habitat.

We donated the time of our experienced ecologists to provide an assessment of protected species for an environmental walkway being built adjacent to our Mold office.

We have also made donations to the following worthy causes:

KORU Foundation - instead of sending paper christmas cards, we made a donation to KORU in return for e-card design. Our donation has gone towards funding a 15kW hydro scheme in Mozambique which will provide power for 80 families in the rural community of Ndirie.
