VAPOR-PAC - Carbon Adsorption Service

Calgon Carbon`s VAPOR-PAC carbon adsorption service meets industrial and remediation needs for cost-effective removal of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) at air emission sources.

Protect - Model VW Series - Vapor Phase Carbon Adsorber Canisters

The PROTECT VW vapor phase carbon adsorber canisters are economical air or vapor treatment units for short term usage applications. PROTECT VW canisters contain all of the operating elements required for utilization of granular activated carbon in air or vapor treatment, including a flat carbon bed support across the entire bed cross sectional area and plenum area below this support for effective air introduction and distribution across the bed. The canisters are constructed of unlined carbon steel with a stainless steel screen and carbon steel bed support for use with activated carbon in air treatment

Ventsorb - 55-Gallon Activated Carbon Canisters

VENTSORB canisters, each containing 180 pounds of activated carbon, are ideal for low-flow air purification applications at industrial and municipal facilities. These economical adsorption systems control small volume organic contaminants and/or odorous gas emissions from: Storage tank vents, Reactor vents, API separator vents, Sludge thickener tanks at waste treatment plants, Sewer gas vents, wet stations, and weir boxes at chemical and municipal waste treatment plants, Chemical plant wastewater holding tanks, Laboratory hood exhausts, Landfills, Air-stripper off-gases. The 55-gallon VENTSORB canisters contain all the elements found in a full-scale adsorption system vessel: activated carbon, inlet connection and distributor, and an outlet connection for the purified air stream.

VAPOR-PAC - Model 10 - VOC Control Equipment

Steel adsorber designed similarly to a roll-off box used to treat flows up to 10,000 cfm. When the carbon is exhausted, the vessel is returned to Calgon Carbon. The increasing emphasis on cleaner air presents the industry with new challenges to control and reduce toxic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) at air emission sources. To help facilities comply with current and future VOC regulations, Calgon Carbon offers the VAPOR-PAC` 10 Service which uses adsorption on granular activated carbon to remove VOCs from high volume air emissions. The service also minimizes capital expenditures and eliminates on-site spent carbon transfer and regeneration.

PROTECT - Model MX-500-V - Vapor Phase Adsorber

The Protect MX-500-V adsorber is an economical portable drum designed for low flow applications. The vessel operates at pressures up to 7 psi, flow rates up to 450 cfm, and temperatures as high as 150°F. The Protect MX-500-V unit holds 450 pounds of activated carbon with an estimated shipping weight of 580 pounds.

Protect - Model RO Series - High Volume Vapor Adsorbers

The PROTECT RO Series are portable adsorbers that can easily be put into service where high flow rates are expected. With a media capacity of up to 18,000-lbs., the PROTECT RO Series can handle flow rates up to 10,000-cfm.
