CECO CCA - Model SNCR - Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction

Through years of experience and knowledge, we have patented innovative technologies designed to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions for new or existing coal, oil, and gas fired boilers. Our CCA brand Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR) systems provide a low cost technique to reduce NOx emissions by 30%-60% for both boilers and lime kilns.  The SNCR process involves injecting a reagent into the flue gas in the appropriate temperature window. The reagent reacts with NOx to form harmless nitrogen and water. The design, arrangement, and location of the reagent injectors are critical to the performance of the SNCR system. Our advanced technology utilizes variable droplet size control and automatic titling based on furnace temperature, to enhance the NOx reduction performance.

CECO CCA - Low-NOx Burners (LNB)

Through years of experience and knowledge, we have patented innovative technologies designed to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions for new or existing coal, oil, and gas fired boilers. Our CCA brand Low-NOx Burners (LNB) are configured to stabilize the combustion process and allow the unit to be operated at lower excess O2 by utilizing a flame stabilizer. To enhance the NOx reduction capabilities, the flame stabilizer is designed with internal air/fuel staging. This sets up fuel-rich and lean zones downstream of the stabilizer in the primary combustion zone where the majority of the NOx emissions are formed, providing additional staging, flame stability and lower NOx emissions.

CECO CCA - Overfire Air (OFA) Systems

Overfire Air (OFA) systems divert a portion of the combustion air away from the primary combustion zone. Our CCA Combustion Systems brand Overfire Air system, deeply stages combustion for enhanced nitrogen oxide (NOx) reduction. By utilizing a unique port design to ensure advantageous air and fuel mixing, our OFA system can minimize NOx, achieving 30-40% reductions beyond low NOx burners. We apply years of experience and knowledge with our patented innovative technologies to reduce NOx emissions on wall, cyclone, tangential, and stoker-fired boilers burning oil, gas, coal and biofuels, providing low cost solutions to fit your specific needs.

CECO CCA - Model FGR - Flue Gas Recirculation

Flue Gas Recirculation (FGR) is a powerful nitrogen oxide (NOx) control technique that significantly reduces NOx emissions by recirculating flue gases from the boiler exhaust duct into the main combustion chamber. This process reduces peak flame temperature and lowers the percentage of oxygen in the combustion air/flue gas mixture, thereby reducing thermal NOx formation. Our CCA Combustion Systems brand offers Flue Gas Recirculation in combination with our other patented innovative technologies, designed to reduce NOx emissions for new or existing coal, oil, and gas fired boilers.

CECO CCA - Model CT - NOx Reduction Combustion Tempering

Through years of experience and knowledge, we have patented innovative technologies designed to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions for new or existing coal, oil, and gas fired boilers. Our CCA Combustion Systems brand Combustion Tempering (CT) process injects water (steam or flue gas can be utilized) upstream of the flame to reduce the temperature at the point of initial combustion, reducing NOx emissions. By utilizing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling and laser Doppler spray testing, we are able to deliver optimal reliability, efficiency and operations, minimizing water usage and ensuring consistent performance for your specific needs.

CECO CCA - Model RRI - NOx Emission Reduction Technology: Reagent Injection

Our CCA Combustion Systems brand is a licensed implementer of the Rich Reagent Injection (RRI) technology, jointly developed by Reaction Engineering International (REI) in collaboration with EPRI and DOE. The Rich Reagent Injection is a technology designed to reduce NOx emissions. The RRI process utilizes a reagent (urea) that is injected into the fuel-rich regions of the furnace to chemically reduce NOx formed by the combustion process.

CECO CCA TRIM-NOX - Model XL SCR - Injection Module for NOx Emission Reduction

With years of experience and knowledge, we have patented an innovative delivery, metering and injection system designed to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. Our CCA brand TRIM-NOX XL SCR Injection Module automatically injects a urea or ammonia based reagent into the exhaust gas of fuel oil or natural gas boilers, furnaces, or turbines to reduce NOx emissions. Each module is engineered to optimize efficiency, performance and reliability, while meeting stringent environmental standards.
