Duall MistMiser - Vertical Mist Eliminator

Model MM corrosion resistant vertical inline mist eliminators for capture and control of mists and aerosols from exhaust streams.

Bio-Reaction - Bio-Oxidation Odor Control Systems

For odor control, our Bio-Reaction brand Bio-sumpVENT is a lightweight, modular bio-oxidation system designed to meet the demands for reduction of nuisance odors. The exterior is fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) with a sealed lid that houses an internal framework to support Bio•Reaction`s patented Bio-airSPHERES for the adsorption and digestion of odorous compounds emanating from odor causing sources. The standard unit is equipped with an automated humidification/watering system and an induced draft fan. For applications in colder environments, optional heating systems and insulation are available.

Emtrol - Fluid Catalytic Cracking Cyclones

We have incorporated many new features into our cyclones to enhance the separation efficiency, accommodate increased catalyst loading and to minimize wear on internal surfaces of the cyclone equipment.

Emtrol - Tertiary Cyclone Systems

Emtrol has supplied more tertiary cyclone systems for FCC units than any other cyclone supplier, and our experience in this area is unequaled.  Many of these installations have been operating for more than 20 years and, at this juncture, we have secured over 700 contracts worldwide for the supply of cyclones for the specialized FCC application.

Emtrol - Beam Hanger Support System for FCC Cyclones

In 1974 Emtrol introduced its exclusive Patented Beam Hanger Support System for use in FCC applications.  It can markedly reduce field costs and turnaround time, when compared to other designs and, since its inception, our system has become the most successfully applied method for support of cyclones in `large diameter` FCC regenerators. All regenerator internal cyclones systems must be supported in a manner that accommodates the differential thermal expansion that exists between the relatively cold vessel, which supports all vessel internals, and the cyclone system, which is exposed to a much greater temperature.  This expansion problem is exacerbated by the use of rapidly expanding austenetic 304 H stainless steel for the cyclone system, and becomes problematic in larger units where considerable thermal movement is encountered.

Emtrol - Fourth Stage Cyclone Separation

Fourth stage cyclones are applied in the underflow from a third stage and are used to collect solids that have already been separated in the third stage.  Solids separated in the third stage are transported to the fourth stage using a small percentage of the flue gas as the median for transportation of the catalyst, which is controlled by an orifice normally located downstream of the fourth stage cyclone. There are many different configurations for the underflow and fourth stage cyclone system, which must also be designed to accommodate unloading of the solids from the fines collection hopper. Our fourth stage cyclone systems, which are typically designed and fabricated to pressure vessel standards and are supported by the fines hopper vessel, have been supplied for many third stage separator systems.

Emtrol - Catalyst Hopper Cyclones

Our Catalyst Hopper Cyclones are easily adaptable to a variety of applications, including loading and/or unloading of Fresh and Spent Catalyst Hoppers, or as auxiliary hoppers for special additives.  These cyclones are typically designed to minimize catalyst lost to atmosphere in the vent from the hopper during loading and/or unloading operations of the hopper. Although catalyst hopper cyclone systems must often be designed to accommodate unloading of the solids from the fines collection hopper, there are different configurations
