Environmental Analytics is your ideal partner for all environment-related issues. The spectrum of services offered ranges from physico-chemical analysis to biological-ecological testing. We analyze specimens of all environment-related compartments (air, water, soil). We identify and quantify organic and inorganic substances down to the ultra-trace range and evaluate them on the basis of the applicable legal standards. We create a customized program of analyses for you, whether the task involves standard testing or the investigation of complex issues.

As an accredited laboratory for workplace monitoring under TRGS (Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances) 402 we work with approved analysis methods (e.g. DFG methods, OSHA, NIOSH) as well as a wide variety of laboratory methods of comparable quality. We can quickly develop and validate new procedures in cases where there are no generally accepted procedures for occupational safety analysis, in particular when new chemicals are involved.

The containers used to transport and store chemicals must be cleaned before being filled with a different product or prior to inspection. We offer a cleaning service for containers with a volume of 1 m³ or more, such as intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) and road and rail tank trucks. The cleaning process is selected depending on the last load. The containers are then air-dried before a final check is performed. Residues, wastewater and waste air resulting from the cleaning process are treated or disposed of in our own facilities. We thus offer an environmentally compatible full-service cleaning solution.

We record, identify and assess contamination of the soil and/or groundwater inside and outside the three CHEMPARK sites and on Bayer real estate. We have many years of experience in drawing up harmful substances reports and disposal concepts relating to demolition measures.

We are your partner for the disposal of aqueous waste of different consistencies, including acid and alkaline wastewater and wastewater containing solids or odorous substances. The aqueous waste is transferred to our chemical and physical treatment facility in Dormagen where it is analyzed to determine the most appropriate treatment, e.g. separation of solids, precipitation, treatment using activated carbon. Our processes ensure a high level of treatment and environment friendliness.

We operate collection centers for recyclable material at the CHEMPARK sites, where we collect and sort scrap and recover it as cost-effectively and in as high a quality as possible for subsequent marketing. We pass on any revenue we make to you. Special waste fractions – including hazardous waste or waste requiring special documentation – are collected, separated, gathered into batches suitable for transportation and sent for recycling or disposal. Such waste includes electronic scrap, PCs and monitors, cooling and refrigeration appliances, fluorescent lamps, batteries, etc.
