We also deliver custom-tailored solutions for the SF6 gas handling of electron accelerators. Compared to the "normal" gas handling in the energy sector, larger SF6 gas volumes – usually several tons – have to be handled in the field of electron accelerators. Therefore, high-performance system components as well as large supply lines (up to DN 100) are needed, so that the gas volume can quickly and effectively be filled from the storage tank into the accelerator and recovered again. The SF6 gas is filtered during operation by aid of large filter units and dried at the same time.

The EcoAnalyser is designed to meet the requirements of the user in medium and high voltage analysis of quenching and insulating gases and is ready for use as soon as it is switched on. High-quality workmanship and ergonomic design emphasise the quality requirements for a compact and easy-to-maintain measuring device with high measuring accuracy.

The H2 filling station enables the refueling of gaseous hydrogen from up to 4 different H2 storage tanks (cylinder bundles). The filling process is simple and uncomplicated, it can be started quickly and runs automatically. Depending on the pre-pressure in the H2 storage tanks, a vehicle can be refueled up to a maximum of 300 bar. Gas type: H2.

The primary gauge of the pressure reducer displays the bottle pressure in bar, psi and kPa, the secondary gauge indicates the desired filling pressure to be set easily by means of the handle. The bottle pressure can be reduced to the desired filling pressure by the integrated pressure reducer. During the refilling process emissions are avoided by self-closing couplings.

The weight is indicated on the illuminated display which switches off automatically if the scales are not used for a certain time. Thanks to the tare function high precision quantification of gas inputs and outputs is possible.

Finest hairline cracks may occur on porcelain insulators for circuit breakers or other SF6 insulated electrical equipment such as measuring or current transformers during transportation or as a result of material stress. Filling the gas compartment with SF6 may lead to dangerous bursting of the insulator. Thanks to the "CommGuard Web" filling unit it is now possible, for the very first time, to fill porcelain insulators in a controlled and safe way from a distance of up to 100 m. This unit enables the operator to control and monitor the fully automated filling process using a smartphone, tablet or laptop from outside the danger zone.

The mobile vacuum pump unit is convincing by its easy handling. The unit serves for evacuation of air or nitrogen from switchgear. The 40 m³/h vacuum pump (standard version) enables a fi nal vacuum of < 1 mbar. Thus it is guaranteed that no air/gas mixture can be generated and the excellent insulation properties of SF₆ are maintained. The 2-stage vacuum pump (available as option) even reaches a fi nal vacuum of 0.0067 mbar.
