The Typhoon stainless steel central wet dust collector provides powerful performance and high-efficiency filtration capability to handle demanding wet dust collection applications. The collector’s design allows for minimal maintenance requirements and can be configured in a compact configuration or with a dust collection hopper.

The Typhoon WX-1200 wet dust collector eliminates combustible dust fires and flammable sparks from your process by using cascading water to quench dangerous airborne particulate. In order to prevent excess humidity, the wet collector includes a mist eliminator after-filter to reduce the amount of water spray exhausted. The wet dust collector’s filtration system forces particles through a series of baffles to submerge them into a turbulent vortex of water. After the dust is immersed in water, the material then drains down into a water basin. 

The Typhoon WX-3000 stainless steel wet dust collector excels at capturing combustible/hazardous dust from your plant air. The 5HP blower draws air through DiversiTech’s proprietary water-tree baffle design, creating a cascading water effect that removes particles as small as 3 micron from the airstream.

The Typhoon WX-5000 stainless steel wet dust collector extracts metal and other combustible contaminants from plant air. The interior of the wet collector contains strategically located baffles to wash water over airborne dust and redirect it into the water tank below. All Diversitech wet dust collectors are fabricated using stainless steel to ensure the equipment will last over the long term.

The Typhoon WX-6500 stainless steel wet dust collector provides a solution for the safe collection of combustible metal dust. These wet type dust collectors can also be used in applications too tough or unsuitable for traditional cartridge style dust collectors.

The WV Sludge Vacuum offers a fast, easy way to clean dust, chips and swarf out of wet dust collectors and other equipment. The WV vacuums water along with the sludge and collects the solids in a reusable 5 micron filter bag. The vacuum can then pump back out only the water for reuse in the wet collector. The sludge vac is ideal for use on machines with sumps, parts washers or any storage containers with contaminated liquids and reduces manual maintenance requirements.

Our immersion separator system neutralizes explosive, conductive, and combustible dusts by submerging them into a neutralizing liquid bath, rendering them inert and eliminating any risk of fire or explosion. Our explosion/dust ignition-proof vacuums comply with NFPA 484 guidelines and are an effective tool for good housekeeping practice as per OSHA. All the electrical components, including the motor and starter, are totally enclosed so there is no source of ignition. Our explosion/dust ignition proof vacuums are completely grounded and static dissipating because they are built entirely with non-sparking metals.
