ECO owns and operates Singapore`s largest toxic and hazardous waste treatment facility. Our SINGLAS accredited laboratory, fully staffed with qualified chemists and deploying a range of advanced testing systems, first determines the best and most environmentally sound treatment method for the customer`s specific waste streams. Depending on customer requirements, this may include recycling in high technology recovery facilities, treatment to render the material harmless, or total destruction of the material.

ECO`s Industrial and Commercial Waste Management Department provides general waste collection and recycling services to our clients. We often bundle our general waste and hazardous waste services to provide a Total Waste Management Solution for our industrial clients.The management of your waste starts from the provision of suitable waste containment for you, followed by scheduling & collection of waste materials, and then recycling or final disposal. ECO owns and operates Singapore`s only incineration plant for the treatment of wastewater sludge. We receive the dewatered and dry sludge generated by all of the PUB Water Reclamation Plants (WRPs) in Singapore.The incineration process uses advanced Japanese technology, and more than 50% of the heat from the process is recovered to dry the incoming sludge, nearly eliminating the need to use external fuel sources.Incinerating sludge typically reduces its volume by more than 85%, minimizing demand on landfill space. In addition, total greenhouse gas emissions are substantially reduced, enabling the ECO Sludge Treatment Plant (STP) to generate Carbon Credits for sale on international markets.
Laboratory Services
ECO has a SINGLAS accredited laboratory with particular expertise in environmental and waste testing, including TCLP, trade effluent analysis, hydrocarbon ash content and CV, organic compounds, heavy metal content, and water content in solvent. Our laboratory is equipped with equipment such as ICP-AES, GCMS, GC-TOGAS, bomb calorimeter, and many others.
