The Electric H2O media filtration system is designed to economically improve the efficiencies of water cooled HVAC systems. This filter will remove suspended solids to 5 microns nominally from your system. Media filtration will extend the life and improve the operating efficiencies of your cooling towers, chiller condensers and heat exchangers. Our system complements your chemical treatment program by removing suspended contaminants. A proactive water treatment program that includes our filtration can provide a significant return on your investment.

The Electric H2O Centrifugal Separator uses centrifugal force to separate suspended particles from the water. Concentrated particles are forced along the separator wall, traveling downward to the collection chamber, while the clean fluid is forced to change direction by the redirection plate. The vortex breaker allows the particles to settle in the collection chamber. Particles concentrated in the collection chamber are periodically purged or continuously bled from the separator as required by each application. Our Separator will remove 98% of particles greater than 40 microns and with a specific gravity of 1.8 or greater.

The Electric H2O Closed Loop Filtration System (CL Filter) is a high-pressure media filter, constructed from epoxy-lined carbon steel and designed to remove suspended solids down to 10, 5 and 0.5 microns from closed loop heating and cooling systems. The system is designed to maximize filtration flow and minimize backwash time and volume. As the filtered particulates accumulate on the media bed, the pressure differential across the bed increases. When a pre-determined set point is reached, the self-cleaning automatic citywater backwash cycle is initiated, after which filtration is resumed. The NEMA 4X control panel also incorporates a manual and timed override automatic backwash. Dual electric actuators and four two-way bronze ball valves prevent any closed loop system water loss during backwash.

Electric H2O, Inc. introduces the newest sweeper jet designed specifically for cooling tower basins. In order for cooling tower filters to do an effective job removing solid contaminants from the cooling tower basin, the solid particulates must be directed toward the filter inlet. Electric H2O’s Sweeper Jet nozzles achieve this through a uniquely designed elliptical discharge outlet that directs basin water toward the filter inlet in a flat fan pattern. This maximizes the performance of any cooling tower filtration system by actively sending particulates and sedimentation from stagnation zones in the tower sump to the filter.

The Electric H2O BF Series Bag Filter remove suspended particulate from water and other process applications. Contaminants such as pipe scale, grit, waxes, metal chips, rust and airborne debris from many sources are removed in a consistent, proven manner. Electric H2O offers a variety of bags designed to remove particles from 0.35 to 800 microns. Optional features include a system-matched pump, motor, PLC control, bag change out alarm, instrumentation and piping.
