ESCO International has, through intensive research and site trials, developed a unique advanced oxidation process, the CATADOX. The CATADOX process combines treatment by ozone, UV, hydrogen peroxide and when required a proprietary solid state catalyst. The CATADOX performs excellently in challenging applications such as micro-pollutant oxidation, non-biodegradable COD removal, enhanced TOC reduction, VOCs abatement, toxicity reduction.

Once produced, the ozone gas must be transferred into the water to be treated. Mixers, ensure that the ozone is thoroughly mixed with water. Higher ozone mass transfer, means that almost all of the generated ozone is available for treatment of the water in question.

Air contaminants that are harmful to human health and the environment are known as  Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAP) or Toxic Air Contaminants. ESCO International has developed a range of novel Catalytic Vent gas Destruct Units” ULTRACLEAN” suitable for the destruction of a wide range of industrial toxic gases. Industrial applications include semiconductor, LCD , and petrochemicals. The treated HAP compounds are hydrides (AsH3, PH3), metalorganics, mercaptans, poly aromatic halogene (eg., dioxin), chlorinated solvents (TCE, DCA), and inorganic acids (e.g, Cl2, H2SO4, H2S). The catalytic vent gas destruct units optimises the use of modern catalysts in order to obtain the highest possible efficiency. Effluent concentrations of toxic gases are reduced to below the safety and health standard, eg. threshold level value (TLV).

ESCO International can offer ozone analyzers including ozone monitoring in the gas phase, water phase and atmosphere. Gas phase ozone monitors are suitable for measurement of the ozone produced by the ozone generator as well as the ozone off-gas that leaves the ozone contact chamber. The liquid phase monitor is suitable for measuring the dissolved ozone in water. We also offer ambient ozone monitors as safety devices for the protection of personnel working in ozone plants. The Oxygen generator takes air and separates the oxygen from other gasses. The separation is accomplished with an inert ceramic material that does not require replacement (when maintained and used according to this instruction manual). The process is completely regenerative which makes it reliable and virtually maintenance free. The delivery pressure can be set from 0 to 4,0 bars (g) to meet the needs of your operation.

The Air dryer prepares the incoming air for use in the ozone generator (or the oxygen generator) and that ensures a high ozone concentration and a reliable operation of the ozone unit.
