Trenchless Pipeline - Replacement

PIM - Non Ductile Pipeline Replacement Pipe Bursting

Cities all across North America are using Pipe Bursting to maintain or improve their pipeline systems. Since the Pipe Bursting process was developed, over 7,500 miles of pipe - both mainlines and service laterals - have been replaced worldwide using this technology.

Consplit - Ductile Pipeline Replacement

The patented ConSplit tool is launched into an existing pipe at an entry pit and pulled through the pipeline to an exit pit. The old pipe is split open and expanded out into the soil, allowing a polyethylene pipe to be pulled into the enlarged hole immediately behind the ConSplit tool. As the ConSplit tool moves through the old pipe, two cutting wheels press a deep cut into the interior pipe wall. The eccentric body of the ConSplit expander concentrates stress at the cut. This tears the pipe along the cut and opens it smoothly without high pulling forces. A sail blade located between the cutting wheels and eccentric body cuts through repair clamps. When especially strong fittings such as steel barrel compression couplings are encountered, a pneumatic hammer inside the ConSplit tool supplies the added force needed to drive the blade through the coupling. When the splitting operation is complete, the new polyethylene pipe has been simultaniously installed.

Trenchless Pipeline - Renewal

Rolldown - Tight-Fit Polyethylene Lining

PIM Corporation`s Rolldown system uses standard polyethylene (PE) pipe to create a close-fitting liner within an existing pipeline. Rollers reduce the diameter of the PE pipe and allow it to be pulled through the host pipe. The liner is then pressurized to revert it to its original size. Rolldown can be designed as a stand-alone, fully rated pressure pipe, or as a thin-wall liner used to eliminate leaks in an otherwise sound pipeline.

Subline - Tight-Fit Polyethylene Lining

PIM Corporation`s Subline system uses standard polyethylene (PE) pipe to create a close-fit liner within an existing pipe with very little excavation. Up to 3,000 feet of new PE pipe can be inserted into an existing pipeline between entry and exit pits. Moments before installation, a PE pipe is pushed through a special die which folds the pipe into a "C" shape which is temporarily held by plastic straps. The folded pipe can easily be pulled through an existing pipeline. Once the PE pipe extends completely through the host pipe, its ends are sealed and the pipe is filled with water and pressurized. The pressure causes the plastic straps to break and the PE pipe to unfold and return to its original shape. As a result, the PE pipe fits tightly inside the host pipe, sealing leaks, preventing corrosion, and reducing friction.

MaxLiner - Cured-in-Place Lining

Environmental concerns over wastewater seepage and aging residential laterals in older neighborhoods have made lateral repair and replacement big business around the world. RS Technik, a European organization that has specialized in forward-thinking solutions for the plumbing industry for more than a quarter of a century, recognized the need for a fast, affordable and effective way to address this growing demand. The result is the MaxLiner System. After more than a decade of engineering, testing and perfecting, the MaxLiner System is now available to provide even small plumbers and contractors throughout America with an affordable, long-lasting, quick, easy, reliable and trenchless system of lateral repair.

Primus Line - Trenchless Pipe

Primus Lineis a trenchless technology designed by Raedliner for the rehabilitation of medium and high-pressure pipelines for media including water, gas and oil. The technology is based on a semi-structural, flexible, ultra-high strength hose consisting of three layers:

Structural Repair / Reinforcement

PIM - Fiber Reinforcement Polymer (FRP)
