Produced from the shell of coconuts, this carbon is considered the finest in the world of air purification. The coconut shell forms pores which are just the right size to capture many gases and odors.

Because of its shape, performance, and low cost, extruded carbon has become the standard over the past decade. PureAir carbon has a low dust, high activity level, economical choice.

Provides ideal adsorption of amines and other base compounds which as ammonia. It is developed from highly activated carbon manufactured by steam activation from selected grades of anthracite coal.

Has been used in the pulp and paper and refinery markets for over forty years. This product targets those gases which are predominant in this environment, especially Hydrogen Sulfide. This media is designed to perform exceptionally well in all scrubbers including Westvaco vapor adsorbers and Purafil tub scrubbers.

Has the highest Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S) removal capacity commercially available. H₂S is the primary gas in sewage odors and industrial process gases. This high removal capacity (greater than 0.30 g/cc or more than 50 percent by weight) gives PureAir’s gas removal systems the ability to provide long lasting, highly efficient odor removal. This media provides customers with a low cost solution with the highest effectiveness.

Adsorbs 25% of its weight in Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S), far more than its activated carbon competitors. Made from high iron content compound, Sulphasorb™ Fe is an all-around better choice than activated carbon for use in odor control scrubbers where H₂S levels exceed 50 ppm.

This media is a 50/50 percent blend of Sulphasorb XL and Sulphasorb Fe. The ability to remove 45% of its weight in H₂S places it high above activated carbon. Made from a high iron content compound, Sulphasorb FeXL™ is an all-around better choice than activated carbon for use in odor control scrubbers where H₂S levels exceed 50 ppm.

Target gases, especially Hydrogen Sulfide. The carbon and alumina are impregnated with proprietary caustic compound to neutralize acid gases.

Was developed to serve the growing worldwide concern about the health risks associated with NO_x. This family of gases includes Nitrogen Oxide (NO), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO₂), and Nitrogen Trioxide (NO₃).
