Produced from the shell of coconuts, this carbon is considered the finest in the world of air purification. The coconut shell forms pores which are just the right size to capture many gases and odors.

Ammoniasorb - Activated Carbon Media

Sulphasorb - XL Activated Carbon Media

Has the highest Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) removal capacity commercially available. H2S is the primary gas in sewage odors and industrial process gases. This high removal capacity (greater than 0.30 g/cc or more than 50 percent by weight) gives PureAir’s gas removal systems the ability to provide long lasting, highly efficient odor removal. This media provides customers with a low cost solution with the highest effectiveness.

Sulphasorb - Fe Activated Carbon Media

Adsorbs 25% of its weight in Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), far more than its activated carbon competitors. Made from high iron content compound, Sulphasorb™ Fe is an all-around better choice than activated carbon for use in odor control scrubbers where H2S levels exceed 50 ppm.

PureAir - Sulphasorb FeXL Adsorbent Media

This media is a 50/50 percent blend of Sulphasorb XL and Sulphasorb Fe. The ability to remove 45% of its weight in H2S places it high above activated carbon. Made from a high iron content compound, Sulphasorb FeXL™ is an all-around better choice than activated carbon for use in odor control scrubbers where H2S levels exceed 50 ppm.

Sulphasorb 2 - Activated Carbon Media

Targets acidic gases, specifically hydrogen sulfide. This product has the same capacity by volume (0.15 g/cc) as original Sulphasorb, but it has the upgraded benefit of fire resistance.

Carbsorb - Activated Carbon Media

Target gases, especially Hydrogen Sulfide. The carbon and alumina are impregnated with proprietary caustic compound to neutralize acid gases.
