PURItech has an effective emission control solution for virtually every diesel engine. For the most demanding situations, PURItech has developed the PURImax system. PURImax reduces emissions of gaseous pollutants (CO: -96%, HC -92%, NOx; -30%) purely by using a catalytic coating without the addition of a reducing agent or substance. Particulate filtration of >99% is delivered by a ceramic wall-flow filter.

The DAS-DBS system is a combined regeneration filter system, comprising an active regeneration component (external fuel injection) and a passive component (catalytic filter coating or fuel borne catalyst). The filter system is designed for vehicles and machines operating often on a severe duty cycle (low exhaust gas temp.). It is intended for applications, where purely passive regeneration would not work. The filter regeneration with the DAS-DBS system is electronically controlled (backpressure) and occurs automatically during normal vehicle operation.

The DPFN+NC system is a self-cleaning wall-flow filter system utilising our exclusively developed passive regeneration technology. The `self-regeneration` occurs through a patented catalytic coating of the pre-filter allowing us to take full benefit of a non-coated wall flow filter monolith. This innovation ensures the lowest cost filter maintenance and replacement service in the UK today( see below). The filter system is suitable for many road vehicle types operating on high/medium duty cycles (exhaust gas temperatures). Typical applications for the DPFN+NC filter system are Touring Coaches and Road Haulage trucks. The filter system`s performance is continuously monitored by on-board data-logging and diagnostic controllers, ensuring regular and valuable feedback to driver and fleet maintenance departments.

PURItechsets new standards for effective and smooth cleaning of diesel particulate traps (the optimal solution for catalytically coated filter modules). The latest product from our innovation lab represents an entirely new generation of compact and modular cleaning machines.

The thermal regeneration unit is for burning off (regeneration) the soot of a full-loaded diesel particulate filter. Self-cleaning diesel particulate filters with catalytic coating (DPF-System) have to be regenerated, if applicable, in the thermal regeneration unit before cleaning the filter with compressed air. Filters without self-cleaning regeneration (exchange filter), the filter element has to be externally regenerated. If the filter module or exchange filter is loaded with soot, it has to be removed and regenerated in an external  thermal regeneration unit. The unit increases the temperature according to a pre-programmed procedure up to 650C that converts all soot particles into harmless substances.
