Various Materials Recovery SA was founded in 1991 with the aim of recovering the metals contained in the cables (mainly aluminum and copper) by grinding processes. Headquartered in Ribaseca (León), RMD was a small but pioneering an industry that showed great potential for growth and dynamism that was our great strength. In 1994 he founded the Barcelona site in the same line of business. Not until 1997 when RMD diversifies its business dramatically in order not to rely solely on metal market fluctuations. This is a momentous year in the company which made the first grinding of used tires and other waste from manufacture of Michelin.
