VacuDAP - Model 2004 OEM - Dose Area Product Monitoring System

The VacuDAP system is a modular solution for measuring the Dose Area Product (DAP) crucial in X-ray diagnostics. It adheres to European Guideline 2013/59/EURATOM and international regulations like IEC 60580, ensuring comprehensive patient dosimetry control in X-ray and fluoroscopy systems. The system includes various ionization chambers that can seamlessly integrate with different X-ray equipment configurations, including C-arm machines. Its transparent chambers are designed to fit easily onto collimator accessory rails, allowing flexible adaptation. A serial data interface is standard, enabling data transfer to printers or PCs. OEM options for system integration with existing generators further enhance adaptability. VacuTec Meßtechnik GmbH has specialized in the development and production of industrial ionization chambers for over five decades. These chambers serve as sensors in traversing measuring systems designed for radiometric measurement of thickness, area mass, and density in various industrial applications. Utilizing the transmission and backscatter principle, these sensors offer a rugged construction, extensive linear working range, and a compact design. They are engineered for long service life and stability under thermal variations, making them ideal for high-speed processes with a reaction time of a few milliseconds. Standard manufacturing involves precision welding of nickel-chromium steel for beam entry ports. Alternatively, vacuum-tight connections with other materials such as titanium or beryllium are achieved through advanced bonding techniques. Additionally, chambers can be filled with high purity gases like krypton, xenon, or argon, enabling their use in specialized applications where specific pressure levels are required.

VacuTec - Model 70 091 - Geiger-Mueller Dose Rate Probes for Radiation Monitoring

The Geiger-Mueller Dose Rate Probes, specifically model 70 091, are precision instruments developed by VacuTec for diverse radiation measurement tasks. These probes are tailored for applications ranging from environmental surveillance to operations in nuclear power plants. At their core, the dose rate probes use two Halogen-quenched Geiger-Mueller tubes, encased in a durable waterproof aluminum housing, ensuring reliability under demanding conditions. They leverage digital interfaces like RS 485 or USB for seamless integration with PCs or network setups. Unique to these probes is their method of dose-rate determination, which benefits from measuring the averaged time interval between counter tube activation and the first detection event, rather than relying solely on traditional counting. This innovative approach provides excellent linear response across a wide dose-rate range, up to 100 Sv/h. The probes also interface with the DRMoni software, allowing users to visualize data and set parameters for optimized performance. A supportive feature for operators, it includes customizations for interface descriptions tailored for the specific probes.
