Our Chlorine Dioxide Generation Kit consists of two liquid components - Hydrochloric Acid 9% and Sodium Chlorite 7.5%. Chlorine dioxide is an advanced disinfectant for water and wastewater treatment, as well as swimming pools. Unlike chlorine, chlorine dioxide does not produce carcinogenic compounds as a by-product of disinfection. Chlorine dioxide has a long-lasting disinfection effect through residual concentration; this is something that neither ozone, nor UV can provide.
