Siemens Calomat - Model 6 -Continuous Gas Analyzer for Hydrogen and Noble Gas
Specializing in hydrogen and noble gases: For continuous measurement of hydrogen and noble gases, the specific thermal conductivity of the sample gas mixture is measured and used to calculate the concentration. Only binary gas mixtures can be measured directly. If more than two components are present, the concentrations of all other components must be measured separately using other measuring methods. The CALOMAT 6 can carry out internal interference correction after transmission of the external measurement results. There is no need for an external computer.
Highly dynamic measuring range
The CALOMAT 6 features a highly dynamic measurement range (e.g., 0–1% and 0–100% H2, parameterizable) and low T90 time. It is a high-end analytical device available in a 19" inch design or in a robust field housing for installation in a harsh environment. With its additional monitoring unit, the CALOMAT 6 with field housing is suitable for installation in hazardous areas 1 or 2. In general, its applications cover all areas, from measurement of gas purity to use in processes for managing production processes and ensuring product quality.
The analyzers can be integrated easily into the automated network with RS 485, PROFIBUS DP, and PROFIBUS PA interfaces. They can also be parameterized and operated using the PDM tool. For fast and easy maintenance, the analytical devices can also communicate with the SIPROM GA software tool that is integrated into the Ethernet using TCP/IP.
