BabbittModel LS6000 -Hopper and Grain Level Switch and Sensor

SHARE

The LS6000 is an economical, basic feature point level switch that can sense a wide range of liquid and dry materials. Its robust design and durable Delrin insulator make this unit well suited for use in dry materials, such as powders, sand, aggregate, grain or other bulk solids.  Unlike rotating paddles, vibrating forks or other mechanical instruments, the LS6000 level switch has no moving parts. There are no motors to burn up, bearings to wear out or parts to jam.  Proprietary radio frequency (RF) technology provides excellent level measurement and stability while having the ability to ignore significant product buildup, thus eliminating the need for recalibration.

If the probe you ordered is too long, simply cut it off to the desired length with a saw. If you need to add length, just weld on additional rods. Probes of all lengths are available from the factory.

Fail-safe electronics provide peace of mind. The modular electronics make trouble shooting and repair a snap. The entire unit is backed by our two year warranty.

The probe is made of solid 316 stainless steel rod, the insulator is made of Delrin (teflon and other materials optional). The seals are made with Viton "O" rings. All the electronics are housed in a cast aluminum explosion-proof enclosure.
