Achieving cost effective local regulatory compliance in the printing and converting industry requires a complete understanding of both regulatory standards and the printing process. Through experience, Anguil has developed unparalleled expertise in meeting your unique requirements. We understand the effects of water versus solvent-based inks on the line, elimination of odors and toxic fumes from dryers and oven tunnel exhausts, and the capture of fugitive emissions. Over 300 successful printing installations...
Typical modern printing processes utilize solvent-based dyes. The evaporation of the dye solvents into the ambient air during the printing process may expose the workers to various chemicals. Depending on the type of solvents in case, the solvents have different long term exposure limits, which should be obeyed. Component specific measurements are necessary to protect the workers from exposure while avoiding unnecessary interruptions to the printing process from false alarms.
Concentration of development and photographic fixing baths, Concentration of ink wastewater of printing machines, Concentration of water from the carton printing, wastewater from flexographic printing, wastewater from the engraving and chrome plating of cylinders.
Accurate ink dosing pumps in printing and packaging; Verderflex peristaltic pumps offer optimum performance to the printing and packaging industries. Combining the ability to self-prime, run dry and an ultra-fast tube changeover these pumps keep downtime to an absolute minimum. Additionally, the combination of the simple tube clamping mechanism and the low tube cost generates savings in by eliminating specialist tools and labour and by costly cleaning cycles.
As for VOC emission treatment, each Industry has its own technical requirements. As a technology supplier, we at Tecam Group are familiar with the production processes and requirements of Flexographic manufacturers, and have a deep understanding of the technology they require for exhaust air emission treatment, and specifically, for Volatile Organic Compounds VOC emission treatment.
The use of quality inkjet filtration products is essential to reduce print head or fine nozzle blockages, increasing productivity, decreasing maintenance, improving print quality and minimising costs. Enhanced cleanliness, through filtration of aqueous or solvent based fluids and colourants within inkjet machinery, allows higher flow rates and therefore accelerated printing times.
During production of printed materials the ambient air in the working area absorbs a lot of gaseous pollutants (contaminants) that have so-called `paint smell` - solvents of various kinds (alcohols, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons, etc.). The presence of these substances in the working area ambient air produces harmful effect at least on the personnel. In addition, solvent emission into the air is penalized in compliance with current regulation.
Solvent based inks in different colors and patterns are applied to paper, plastic, film and foil substrates. Finished products include all sorts of wrapping paper, wall covering, candy wrappers, flexible food packages, shrink labels, high quality magazines and many, many more. These industries employ ovens or dryers to remove the solvents from the finished product.
