Founded in 1930, Baioni Company has a rich history. For almost 60 years, we have served and provided with excellent solutions our customers, always with passion for innovation and dedication to our work. Baioni is an example of how an evolution in quality and research can be used to produce machinery and plants for the crushing, screening and washing of inert mining aggregates and for the recycling of demolition products. In the last few years, Baioni has focused on the design and production of wastewater clarification plants used for washing of inert materials and aggregates and filter presses and decanters for sludge dehydration, liquid and solid waste treament technologies through soil washing, sediment washing, thermal desorption, stabilization/solidification techniques.

Baioni Crushing Plants is an example of quality evolution and research applied to the production of machinery and plants for crushing, screening and washing quarry and mine aggregate materials as well as machines for recycling demolition material. The company can boast many years of experience in the sector and a deep knowledge of the markets, which guarantee the development and careful production of specific machines and plants for the mining and stone industry at large, offering a complete range of solutions for the entire cycle of industrial treatment.

Baioni Crushing Plants operates on the market through two divisions:

  • Crushing
  • Environment

The Environment Division designs and manufactures plants for the treatment of wastewater (both industrial and organic) and mining sludge, a field that today requires high performance and state-of-the-art technology; in addition to these, the division manufactures machinery for sand production, dust suppression and soil washing.
For the design of the high performance horizontal decanter centrifuges, the company has united expertise in material technology with the most modern and sophisticated design systems.
The new generation Baioni clarifyers/thickeners are designed to adapt to the inevitable qualitative and quantitative variations of the material to be processed. They are installed fully above ground because this minimizes installation time and makes them easier to transport, assemble, and remove!
Baioni has its own line of machinery for the treatment of soils and sediments contaminated with pesticides, hydrocarbons and heavy metals. The soil and sediment washing plants are manufactured for use in soil remediation and recovery.

Back in 1930, Nazzareno Baioni came up with a brilliant idea and founded the company that still bears his name, specializing in the production of agricultural machinery, earth-moving equipment and plants for soil processing.

1960s.
Generational change. The Company passes into the hands of Nazzareno’s sons: Osvaldo, Ulderico and Alberto. This passage leads to considerable change: production of agricultural machinery is gradually abandoned to concentrate all efforts on the making of equipment for the processing of inert mining and quarrying materials.

Over the 1970s, is the
rise of the Baioni brand in Italy. The Company consolidates its position in the Italian market thanks to the quality of its products, the efficiency of services provided and the search for new technical solutions. The expertise in the most specific aspects of the sector and the ability to design products that really meet customers’ needs have turned Baioni into a major company both at national and international levels in the field of aggregate crushing, screening and washing.

1980S is the g
rowth and expansion abroad. In 1984 the company moved into a 70,000 m2 newly-built industrial unit, with 28,000 m2 covered and occupied about 200 workforce. The commercial activities cover about 50 countries worldwide and the Baioni products became synonymous of reliability, quality, sturdiness and safety.

1990s. Baioni Crushing Plants enters the centrifugal separator sector with the launch of its horizontal decanters for the production of olive oil. Subsequently, these decanters began to be used in mineral and industrial processes and in wastewater treatment plants.

Nowadays, in addition to the crushing sector, Baioni Crushing Plants SpA also invests in recycling plants for demolition materials, where the market demands high performances and most advanced technologies, giving the company the opportunity to apply all its know-how in designing autonomous mobile units. The management has been in the hands of the third family generation for some years now, with the subsequent widening of the production to include sludge treatment plants, waste processing treatment.
