Max-AI
MAX-AI - Autonomous Quality Control (QC) Machine
Max-AI technology is an artificial intelligence that identifies recyclables and other items for recovery. Through deep learning technology, Max employs both multi-layered neural networks and a vision system to see and identify objects similarly to the way a person does. The technology is driving improvements in Material Recovery Facility (MRF) design, operational efficiency, recovery, system optimization, maintenance, and more.
Max-AI - Model AQC-1 - Autonomous Quality Control (AQCs) Sorting Machine
Max-AI AQCs (Autonomous Quality Control) are the ultimate in post-sort automation. When combined with NRT optical sorters, the paper and container sorting process is 100% autonomous and the need for human contact with waste is eliminated. The AQC-1 makes multiple sorting decisions autonomously; for example, separating thermoform trays, aluminum, 3D fiber and residue from a stream of optically-sorted PET bottles. All of this is done at rates exceeding human capabilities and each pick is prioritized for profitability. This advanced technology uses a machine vision system to see the material, specialized artificial intelligence to think and identify each item, and robotic sorters to pick targeted items or contamination. Max-AI AQCs provide MRF operators with sustained and consistent sorting performance while improving safety, recovery, product quality and operational expenses.
Max-AI - Model AQC-2 - Autonomous Quality Control (AQCs) Sorting Machine
Max-AI AQCs (Autonomous Quality Control) are the ultimate in post-sort automation. When combined with NRT optical sorters, the paper and container sorting process is 100% autonomous and the need for human contact with waste is eliminated. The AQC-2 makes multiple sorting decisions autonomously; for example, separating plastic film, small cardboard, containers and residue from a stream of newspaper.
MAX-AI - Model AQC-C - Autonomous Quality Control (AQCs) Sorting Machine
Max-AI AQCs (for Autonomous Quality Control) are the ultimate in post-sort automation. When combined with NRT optical sorters, the paper and container sorting process is 100% autonomous and the need for human contact with waste is eliminated. The AQC-C is a solution that is comprised of Max-AI VIS (for Visual Identification System) and at least one collaborative robot (CoBot). CoBots can work alongside people, minimizing structural requirements and footprint while improving maintenance access. The AQC-C can be quickly and easily placed into existing Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) with no down time.
