EOS Remediation - Redox Tech products
Emulsified and Water-Mixable Oils
EOS - Nutrient-Enriched, DoD-Validated, Emulsified Vegetable Oil (EVO)
EOS PRO is a nutrient-enriched, DoD-validated, emulsified vegetable oil (EVO). EOS PRO is engineered to quickly stimulate microbial activity while providing long-term nourishment to enhance anaerobic bioremediation of chlorinated solvents, nitrates, perchlorate, energetics, acid mine drainage, and other recalcitrant chemicals in contaminated groundwater. EOS PRO can also be used to reduce redox sensitive metals and radionuclides. The negative surface charges on the droplets combined with small droplet size promote effective transport in the subsurface.
EOS - Emulsified Vegetable Oil (EVO)
EOS 450 is a low cost food-grade emulsified vegetable oil (EVO) that provides basic support for sites with established microbial communities, maximizing substrate value while enhancing anaerobic bioremediation in contaminated groundwater. EOS 450 can be used to reduce chlorinated solvents, perchlorate, energetics, acid mine drainage, redox sensitive metals, radionuclides, and other recalcitrant chemicals.
EOS - Water-Mixable Vegetable Oil Based Organic Substrate
EOS 100 is a water-mixable vegetable oil based organic substrate which provides a longlasting source of carbon for enhanced in situ anaerobic bioremediation. EOS 100 is shipped as a concentrate; simply mix with water to instantly create an injection-ready oil solution.
EOS - Thixotropic (Shear-Thinning) Emulsified Vegetable Oil (EVO)
EOS VOS is a thixotropic (shear-thinning) emulsified vegetable oil (EVO) formulation of biodegradable oil, nutrients, alkaline buffers, and water designed to mitigate groundwater impacts caused by residual contaminants in the vadose (unsaturated) zone. The patented technology, EOS VOS, uses green chemistry to help microbes breakdown contaminants in soil before they reach groundwater. Once injected, EOS VOS creates a long-lasting treatment zone for rapid anaerobic biodegradation of chlorinated solvents, nitrates, energetics, and effective reduction of some metals.
EOS - Quick Release Soluble Substrate
EOSQR is a quick release soluble substrate for rapid fermentation and short-lived electron donor addition. EOSQR is designed to pre-condition the aquifer creating a highly reducing redox state and initiate enhanced anaerobic dechlorination of contaminated groundwater. EOSQR serves as an excellent pre-treatment prior to an emulsified oil substrate (EOS) injection.
EOS EOSZVI - Water-Mixable Oil and Zero Valent Iron (ZVI)
EOSZVI is a patent-pending water-mixable vegetable oil based organic substrate with the highest concentration of micron-scale zero valent iron (ZVI) available. This unique product combines the proven reactivity of ZVI with a long lasting source of electron donor for enhanced in situ anaerobic, abiotic, and biotic remediation. EOSZVI is shipped as a waterless concentrate; simply add water in the field to instantly create an injection-ready solution.
Colloidal BupHer
EOS CoBupHMg - Premium Colloidal Suspension of Alkaline Solids
CoBupHMg is a premium colloidal suspension of alkaline solids providing long-term, slow release adjustment of pH in acidic aquifers to optimum levels for biodegradation and immobilization of some dissolved metals.
Electron Acceptors
EOS EAS - Petroleum Hydrocarbons Anaerobic Bioremediation
EAS provides sulfate to stimulate anaerobic degradation of hydrocarbons in groundwater under sulfate-limiting conditions. Takes advantage of pre-existing anaerobic conditions at petroleum sites through enhanced sulfate reduction
EOS EOx™ - Petroleum Hydrocarbons Aerobic Bioremediation
EOX is an established in situ technology that enhances the aerobic biodegradation of a wide range of contaminants.
Bioaugmentation Cultures
EOS - Bioaugmentation Cultures
BAC-9 is an enriched bioaugmentation culture capable of degrading chlorinated solvents to innocuous compounds efficiently via halorespiration. A microbial consortium of Dehalococcoides mccartyi enriched to degrade PCE and TCE completely to ethene.
