We are pleased to announce the signing of an agreement to be the sole UK and Ireland distributor for the unique UVOX range of water treatment systems. UVOX, as the name suggests, uses a combination of Ultraviolet and Ozone to treat infected and polluted water. Its uniqueness stems from its novel method of first producing ozone by irradiating air with a specially designed lamp with UV light at 185nm, mixing the ozone with the water to be treated, and again exposing the mixture to UV light at 254nm using the same lamp.

Traditional Submerged Aerated Filters (SAF), have a proven track record for providing high quality biologically treated effluent. However they are sometimes prone to be power hungry. In our quest for higher efficiency and less energy costs, we offers our Intelligent SAF (I-SAF) unit which incorporates energy saving devices; resulting in power savings of over 50% (compared to traditional SAF units) whilst maintaining the same high levels of treatment. Designed for equivalent populations from 300 – 1000 and beyond, our wastewater treatment system utilises dissolved oxygen control and variable speed side channel blowers to control the air flow together and with PLC monitoring, I-SAF ticks all the boxes when it comes to low carbon / low energy systems.

Euroby operates a large fleet of mobile and semi-mobile dewatering and thickening decanter centrifuge, filter press and belt press units with throughputs of between 5m³ and 120m³/hr. The range enables the company’s experienced operators to successfully process the most difficult of materials and liquid wastes from a variety of sources including but not restricted to  the water, municipal (sewage), food, soil, dairy, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, brewing, animal feeds, tannery, biofuels and quarrying industries.

Continual research and development during the design and manufacture of approximately 400 mechanical sludge thickeners has enabled Euroby`s supplier to develop a new improved mechanical rotating sludge thickener. Its inherent features are: high hydraulic capacity, high solids capture, low shear flocculation, low environmental impact, minimal space requirements.

The CENTRIDRY® enhanced dewatering process offers a unique single stage process combining mechanical dewatering and thermal drying in a single compact machine with a small footprint. The CENTRIDRY® system will process municipal and industrial sludges with an incoming d.s. of 2% - 7% and produce, within seconds, fine grained sludge granulate with 60% - 90% d.s.

Euroby`s Vibrating Fluidised Bed Dryers are used world-wide by the plastics, chemicals, food and fodder and minerals and soils industries. The dryers are designed and manufactured in Austria by Binder + Co and benefit from the following features: economically efficient, dried products are of uniform quality and size, high availability, units available with different temperature zones and cooling, manufactured from a choice of carbon steel, stainless steel, special materials and coatings, hot gas temperatures up to 450oCGrain sizes 50µm to 400mm, variable amplitude of vibration, continuously adjustable frequency of vibration providing, variable product drying time, easy to clean - residual product easy to discharge.

Lime stabilisation systems are manufactured in house by Euroby. Each system utilises weighing facilities to accurately measure the amount of burnt lime to be mixed with the incoming sludge cake. The systems are sufficiently adaptable to allow them to be retrofitted into areas with limited space, or where planning restrictions prevent the installation of full height silos.

Pre- treating thickened activated sludge with Eurosonics before anaerobic digestion improves the rate of digestion in many cases. Ultrasonic disintegration of activated sludge has been shown to disintegrate sludge flocs and to encourage enzymatic biological hydrolysis which is the rate limiting step for anaerobic digestion. Troublesome filamentous organisms are destroyed so that foaming can be eliminated. Dewatering properties of digested sludge can be improved.
