Cation Exchange Resin

Model FC100 - Strong Acid Cation, Macroporous

FC100 is a premium grade, highly cross-linked, macroporous strong acid cation exchange resin based on sulfonated polystyrene, cross linked with DVB. FC100 is designed for polishing and other high stress applications. The DVB content in FC100 is double the amount found in standard gel-type resins. The higher DVB content together with its macroporous structure gives FC100 increased resistance to thermal, chemical and physical shocks and enhances overall stability. FC100 is supplied in Na or H form as moist, tough, uniform spherical beads.

Model FC108 - Strong Acid Cation, Gel

FC108 is a premium grade, high capacity, gelular, sulfonated, polystyrene 8% crosslinked cation resin supplied in the Na or H form as moist, tough, uniform, spherical beads. FC108 is intended for use in all water softening, dealkalization, deionization and chemical processing applications. FC108 is supplied with standard beads size distribution to give optimum operating capacity with minimum leakages of ions and also minimum pressure drop across the resin bed. FC108-H is intended for use in demineralizers and in mixed beds. FC108 is available in both Industrial Grade and Food Grade.

Model FC107 - Strong Acid Cation, Gel

FC107 is a light colored, gel type, sulfonated strongly acidic, polystyrene cation resin supplied in the Na form as moist, tough, uniform spherical beads. FC107 is supplied with standard beads size distribution to give optimum operating capacity with minimum leakages of ions and also minimum pressure drop across the resin bed. FC107 is intended for use in all water softening applications, and supplied in both Industrial Grade and Food Grade.

Model FC101 - Strong Acid Cation, Gel

FC101 is a premium grade, high capacity, gelular, sulfonated, polystyrene cation resin supplied in Na or H form as moist, tough, uniform, spherical beads. FC101 has high resistance to both thermal and chemical oxidation. FC101 is intended for use in all industrial applications where physical and chemical durability are more important than chemical efficiency. FC101-H is intended for use in demineralizers and in mixed beds. FC101 is available in both Industrial Grade and Food Grade.

Model FC311 - Weak Acid Cation, Macroporous

FC311 is a premium grade polyacrylic weak acid cation exchanger. The functional groups of the carboxylic type give high chemical efficiency in many applications, especially for the removal of bicarbonate alkalinity in water treatment, showing good rates of exchange. Its major use is in the dealkalization and softening of waters and thereby the ionic load on the subsequent strong acid resin bed can be reduced. FC311 has also been used to selectively recover transition metals from aqueous solutions, or sugar treatment. FC311 is insoluble in acids, alkalies, and all common solvents. Weakly acidic cation resins are increasingly being used in special applications including treatment of waste water streams in order to reduce environmental pollution. FC311 is available in both Industrial Grade and Food Grade.

Anion Exchange Resin

Model FA301 - Weak Base Anion Macroporous

FA301 is an extremely durable high capacity, shock resistant, tertiary amine macroporous weak base anion exchange resin with very good rinse characteristics that can be efficiently regenerated with a variety of alkaline chemicals, or with waste caustic left over from regeneration of strong base anion resin.FA301 is intended for use in multibed demineralizers. It can also be used in resource recovery systems and for selective ion removal.

Model FA124 - Strong Base Anion Gel, Type I

FA124 is a highly porous, gelular, Type I, strong base anion resin, supplied in the chloride form as moist, tough, uniform spherical beads. It has greater porosity, and this provides superior regeneration efficiency, easier separation in regenerable mixed beds, and greater resistance to organic fouling. FA124 is intended for use in all types of deionization systems and chemical process- ing applications and is especially suited for use in regenerable mixed beds. FA124-OH resins in combination with FC108-H (strong acid cation resin), gives excellent performance in mixed beds. FA124 is intended for use in the hydroxide form for all types of deionizing systems as well as in the chloride form for removal of contaminants such as nitrate, arsenate, chromate, uranium, etc.

Model FA127 - Strong Base Anion Gel, Type I

FA127 is a high capacity, shock resistant, gelular, Type I, strongly basic anion exchange resin supplied in the chloride or hydroxide form as moist, tough, uniform, spherical beads. FA127 is intended for use in the hydroxide form for all types of deionizing systems as well as in the chloride form for removal of contaminants such as nitrate, arsenate, chromate, uranium, etc. It is similar to FA124 but has a higher volumetric capacity and exhibits lower TOC leach rates. This makes it the better performer in single use applications such as in cartridge deionization and when high levels of regeneration are used such as in polishing mixed beds. On the other hand, FA127 is more resistant to organic fouling and gives higher operating capacities at low regeneration levels such as those used in make up demineralizers.

Model FA225 - Strong Base Anion Gel, Type II

FA225 is an industrial grade, polystyrenic, gel, type II strong base anion exchange resin supplied in the Cl form and OH form.
FA225 has high capacity, high chemical efficiency and good resistance to fouling. FA225 is intended for use in the chloride form for removal of contaminants such as nitrate, arsenate, chromate, uranium, etc., as well as in the hydroxide form for all types of deionizing systems. FA225-OH is especially well suited for use for systems where amine odors might be objectionable.

Model FA201 - Strong Base Anion Macroporous, Type I

FA201 is a highly efficient and durable, Type I macroporous strong base anion exchange resin with quaternary ammonium as the functional group. Its macroporous structure provides high operating capacity and excellent regeneration efficiency and allows complete removal of all anions, including weakly dissociated ions such as silica. This structure with strong basicity also permits the removal of large size soluble organic molecules and imparts superior resistance to mechanical and osmotic shock. FA201 is especially well suited for high flow rate and high temperature polishing applications. It is available in the chloride form or in the hydroxide form.
