HydroMet - Meteorology & Hydrology System
The experience GEONICA has gained since 1974 in the design and manufacture of Remote Environmental Data Measuring and Transmission Stations, together with the great developments in telematic communications and the Internet, has enabled us to develop a Measuring, Transmission and Diffusion System for Meteorological and Hydrological Data, and any other environmental parameter, in quasi-real time with «universal» coverage, with no more limitations than those imposed by the determinants for accessing the Internet. The information is transmitted from the remote automatic measuring stations type METEODATA/HYDRODATA 3000C to a Central Station in which is allocated the GEONICA`s WEBTRANS Platform. This Platform allows Universal data access via INTERNET to all external users or customers who contract this efficient data service.
RainAlert - Flash Flood Early Warning System
The RainAlert System has been designed by GEONICA to provide a solution to one of the most frequent emergency situations in many cities and urban or even rural areas, where, due to the orography of the terrain, there exists a high risk of suffering floods caused by heavy rains. The RainAlert System is made up by a precipitation measurement network in the headwaters of the basins, combined with the measurement of the water level and flow discharge monitoring of rivers at several strategic points of the area`s rivers, using for this purpose a specific number of Remote Measurement Stations, either Pluviometric, Hydrometric, or Mixed.
Geonica AQUALERT - Water Quality Monitoring System
AQUALERT is a Water Quality Monitoring System, specifically designed for the Measurement, Data Recording and Alarm Transmission in real time, which allows the continuous surveillance of all water quality parameters (physicochemical, biochemical, hydrocarbons) in surface or underground waters, as well as the measurement of water level in dams, rivers, channels, wells and aquifers.
