Pre cleaners are designed to be installed at the head pulley to remove the bulk of carryback adhering to the belt after the natural trajectory of the conveyor has released the product. Sandvik"s range of pre cleaners are efficient and low maintenance units that will give outstanding service life in the most arduous conditions.

Fine cleaners/secondary cleaners are designed to be installed immediately after the head pulley to remove the fine carryback adhering to the belt. Sandvik"s range of fine cleaners are also available to suit reversing conveyors and are can be fitted with an optional spraypole for additional cleaning.

Belt brush is sometimes the only choice, when material is fine, dry and pulverized or with nipper or rib belts. Construction is a space saver, due to compact drum motor drive, which is also easy to maintain. Diverse mounting parts allow installing onto different structures. Wear parts can be replaced easily, onto pulled out aluminium frame.

When material is sticky or contains wet and belt has already seen its best days, cleaning with pressurized air is one of the best solutions. This cleaner can be connected to a pressurized air system or use by an own blaster.

Patterned belts can be cleaned with vibrating idlers, which are usually installed to the clean side of the belt. When pattern is less than 10 mm, it is allowed to be installed also to the material side.

To prevent drop material getting between belt and pulley and cause in worst case ripping of the belt, can pay back in no time. Selection of pulley cleaners are designed to be used with Sandvik pulleys.
