TNAV - The Water Technology Network of Flanders (Belgium)

TNAV is a non-profit organisation created by the leading Belgian technology providers in the area of water treatment. Its membership includes both commercial companies with water & sludge-related activities and research centres (most Belgian university departments & polytechnic institutes). TNAV promotes innovation among its member companies in order to improve their competitiveness. It focuses on the water cycle as a whole, and on water reuse in industry. The network seeks to involve its membership in relevant research projects (mostly sponsored by IWT, The Flanders Agency for the application of new technologies in industry, and by the EU-Commission). In 2007, TNAV created the Belgian Membrane Group, a spin -off, together with Leuven University and the VITO-research institute, for the promotion of membrane technology in Belgium. TNAV is also involved in matchmaking activities between its members and those of its Dutch counterpart, the Netherlands Water Partnership.
