Air Pollution Control Systems for Integrated Effluent Treatment - Water and Wastewater - Water Treatment
The majority of ERG’s air pollution control packages generate a liquid effluent stream. In many cases this is handled on site by an ETP (effluent treatment plant) or is discharged to sewer under a waste discharge license, or if necessary is tankered away to trade effluent treatment. ERG is able to integrate the air pollution control plant with specific effluent treatment steps to minimise the quantity or composition of the effluent, saving you money on your effluent disposal.
Our integrated effluent treatment may be as simple as pH correction or solids separation in a settler, or may include complex pre-treatment and evaporation for a zero-effluent discharge. We can offer the following effluent treatment steps to complement our gas cleaning package:
- pH correction
- settling
- flotation
- flocculation
- sand filtration
- carbon filtration
- hydrocyclone thickening
- dewatering using vacuum or gravity belt thickening
- low temperature, low pressure evaporation
