Polychem® - Sludge Collector Drive Chains
Brentwood’s Polychem NH-78 Drive Chain is used to drive flocculators, screw conveyors, chain and flight collectors, and a range of other low-speed applications. Injection molded from glass-reinforced nylon, NH-78 is strong, lightweight, and resistant to corrosion and chemical damage. This non-metallic replacement for heavy metal chains is simple to install and maintain without special tools. Our drive chain can also be protected with GritShield® barrel wrap for high grit or highly caustic conditions. By reducing barrel wear, the chain lasts longer and performs better.
Polychem® - Drive Unit Assembly
Brentwood supplies drive units that are custom configured for each collector based on system requirements and regional and environmental conditions. Each system utilizes a motor and gear reducer and optional components such as overtorque protection to prevent drive system failure, a drive chain tightener to maintain tension, and a chain guard to protect rotating equipment above the deck.
