SedVac® - Sediment Removal System

The SedVac system features an innovative design capable of maintaining flow rates while resisting clogs. It handles heavy sediment and grit that traditional vacuum pipe systems leave behind, increasing plant capacity with minimal structural changes. The SedVac Sediment Dredge System is a sediment removal system designed to clean your clarifier by effectively removing the compression zone layer of sludge. Unlike clog-prone vacuum pipes, the SedVac system can handle high concentrations of sludge and grit and is capable of consistently removing solids of 3% concentration across a wide range of influent quality. Its unique header wing design features 4-inch-high intakes that significantly reduce the opportunity for clogging and remove much less water than competing systems.

Brentwood’s blue IFR-6000 Series tubes integrate with our sludge collector systems to provide comprehensive clarification solutions. They are designed to increase treatment capacity without the large footprint and are engineered for maximum structural integrity. Brentwood tube settlers are a cost-effective solution for drinking water and wastewater plants to increase treatment capacity, reduce new installation footprints, improve effluent water quality, and decrease operating costs. We utilize our knowledge and experience with the clarification process to provide complete tube settler systems that are custom-engineered for any application. Our blue tubes are also designed to complement Brentwood`s sludge collection and removal systems, allowing customers to purchase a fully integrated sludge management solution from a consistent, single-source supplier.
