8-Hour HAZWOPER Seminar Annual Refresher Training

8-Hour Hazwoper Training provides the OSHA required annual refresher training for employees who have completed the initial 24 or 40-Hour HAZWOPER course. Mandated training can be found in 29 CFR1910.120. Workers attending this course will cover changes in related regulations, several class safety activities, a mock dress-out, health and safety procedures, and personnel protection during work operations at hazardous material sites and many other areas. The content and exercises are updated and changed annually so your employees will not be taking the same class over and over again!

8-Hour Hands-On Training and Dress-Out

Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Responders (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(8). Instructors emphasize a practical approach to worksite health and safety. Attendees learn to recognize site hazards and take appropriate steps to prevent illness or injuries while on the jobsite. Initial 40-Hour training is for site workers who have responsibilities to remediate (clean-up) hazardous materials at controlled and hazardous sites with hazards or work activities that present a potential for exposure to health and safety hazards. The major course is to provide participants with the ability and knowledge to evaluate site conditions, recognize situations which may or may not be within their abilities, and understand conditions where assistance is required.

16-Hour HAZWOPER Seminar Course (Upgrade-24-to-40-Hour)

This course from Compliance Solutions provides 16 additional hours of safety training required under OSHA 29 CFR1910.120(e). Workers attending this seminar will cover health and safety procedures and personnel protection PPE during work operations at hazardous material sites. This course will upgrade the certification of employees who have received 24-Hour HAZWOPER certification to 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification status thereby allowing workers to participate in clean-up and other related activities under this standard.

24-Hour HAZWOPER Seminar Course

OSHA requires 24 hours of safety training under OSHA 29 CFR1910.120(e) for individuals who work on a controlled or hazardous site The 24-Hour Hazwoper Course is for workers either are NOT required to deal directly with cleanup (this would generally be described as not working in conditions that require a protection level of “C or above) such as drillers, surveyors, contractors, administrative personnel, drivers etc. Workers attending this course will cover health and safety procedures during work operations at hazardous material sites.

40-Hour HAZWOPER Seminar Course

40-Hour HAZWOPER Seminar provides the initial classroom training mandated by OSHA 29 CFR1910.120(e). Workers attending this instructor-led course will cover 18 different OSHA suggested topics including Health and Safety Procedures, PPE used during work operations at hazardous material sites, Medical Monitoring and many others.

DOT HAZMAT Transportation Seminar Course – Complete Certification

The DOT Hazmat Transportation course certifies employees in in the safe and legal transportation of hazmat within the US (domestically) as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT). This one-day seminar covers the training requirements of 49 CFR 172.704 which state:“Any person involved in offering a hazardous material for transportation must be properly trained…sic”.

Emergency Response Technician Level III Initial Training Seminar Course

The Emergency Response Technician Level III Initial Training Seminar provides training mandated under OSHA 29 CFR1910.120(q). This course is conducted in conjunction with our 40-Hour HAZWOPER course. Workers attending this instructor-lead course will cover 18 different OSHA suggested topics including Health and Safety Procedures, PPE used during work operations, Medical Monitoring and many others. The course is held over four days, 10-hours each day.

Emergency Response Technician Level III Annual Refresher (8-Hours)

Employees who are trained as Hazardous Materials Technicians Level III are required to complete an annual refresher training. Per paragraph (q)(6)(iii) of this section: “Employees (sic) shall receive annual refresher training of sufficient content and duration to maintain their competencies.”. This Instructor-Led training course provides the necessary hours and training to meet this requirement. Students complete a review of content presented in the original course, receive information on changes and updates in the last 12-months and participate in group exercises and review case studies designed to challenge and engage the employee.
