PycnoPlast - Anti-Fogging Masterbatch

Fields of application: Extruded films and sheets from LDPE or LLDPE. Examples: Food wrap films. Mode of action: PYCNO 488 contains a very effective antifogging additive.  The antifog additive reduces formation of water droplets on plastic surfaces and as a result improves the transparency of the film or sheet.

PycnoPlast - Odour Reduction Masterbatch

Fields of application Odour reduction masterbatch for recycled PP and recycled PE containing high content of Post-Consumer Recycled raw materials for various applications. Mode of action Pycno 917 contains a blend of chemicals which neutralize and reduce the odour caused by components such as hydrogen sulphide, amines and ammonia. PYCNO 917 is based on PP carrier and therefore limited suitable for PE: maximum dosing is 2% and MFI of PE should be lower than 20. Not Food Approved

PycnoPlast - Dessication Masterbatch

Fields of application Highly concentrated desiccant masterbatch for LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, EVA and other ethylene copolymers. Examples Elimination of moisture from (recycled) polymers in moisture sensitive applications. Mode of action PYCNO 485 is a ready-for-use highly concentrated desiccant masterbatch. It contains additives that chemically bind moisture. PYCNO 485 has been designed for use with recycling materials as well as for applications sensitive to the effects of moisture.

Mode of action PYCNO 785 is a ready-for-use highly concentrated desiccant masterbatch. It contains additives that chemically bind moisture. PYCNO 785 has been designed for use with recycling materials as well as for applications sensitive to the effects of moisture.

PycnoPlast - Fire Retardant Masterbatch

It is very important to process ADD-FR 583 below 240 °C, preferably around 220 °C. Above this extrusion temperature (and depending on the residence time) an unpleasant smell may develop during production which might be present in the final product as well. Before shutdown the processing equipment should be flushed with natural material to avoid decomposition of materials.

PycnoPlast - Fire Retardant Masterbatch

Fields of application Injection moulded, or moulded articles (> 1,5 mm thickness) produced via Direct LFT processes. Examples Moulding parts such a under body panels, door modules, industrial parts, appliances, etc. Mode of action PYCNO 495 provides excellent flame retardancy to thick PP products and contains an extra stabilization package for special long service life requirements. The flame retardant is active in the solid phase of the polymeric system. It forms a stable char, which inhibits the fire propagation.

PycnoPlast - Nucleation Masterbatch

Fields of application Extruded and injection moulded articles made from PP and PE resins. Examples Extruded sheets, films, tapes and blow moulded, compression moulded and injection moulded articles, such as automotive parts, appliances and closures.
