This one-day workshop will instruct students on how to develop an effective EH&S management system audit program and conduct value-added EH&S management system audits with respect to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements. The course is designed for EH&S managers and related staff at organizations that have implemented an EH&S management system and need to train an internal audit team.

Air Compliance Auditing for Industrial Facilities

This course provides focused training on performing in-depth audits of facilities specifically for air compliance issues, background on air regulatory programs, and best practices for conducting audits. Students learn strategies for uncovering air compliance issues related to air permitting and regulatory requirements, permit modifications, and process changes, as well as the disclosure and resolution processes.

Water Compliance Auditing for Industrial Facilities

The focus of this one-day course is compliance auditing under the Clean Water Act. Content will focus on auditing strategies for both direct and indirect wastewater permit compliance, categorical and significant industrial users, wastewater sampling, recordkeeping, and reporting. Participants should have a working knowledge of basic wastewater regulations.
