GHG Reporting Workshop

This half-day course reviews key features of EPA`s Mandatory Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reporting rule, as finalized on 9/22/2009. The course will address: (1) emission estimation methodologies, (2) monitoring, (3) reporting, and (4) recordkeeping requirements. In addition, this course will review methods previously employed to complete voluntary reports, such as for The Climate Registry, and will compare these protocols to the required procedures of EPA`s reporting rule.

This comprehensive one-day workshop covers air quality regulations and requirements pertaining to properly address situations associated with emissions events (EE) and scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, start-up, and shutdown activities (MSS). California GHG: AB32 & CCAR Reporting, Audits & Requirements

Learn how the AB32 goals are determined and how the reductions will be achieved in California. Through examples and exercises, this course covers the development of the baseline (1990) emission level, mandatory reporting requirements, preparing a GHG inventory, Early Action Measures, market mechanisms, audit and verification, trading, and planning reductions.
