EVERWATCH - Laboratory Fume Hood Monitor

EVERWATCH® Lab Fume Hood Monitors ensure safety by continuously monitoring lab fume hood face velocity. TSI`s monitors provide audible and visual alarms to warn of unsafe conditions. Additionally, TSI offers monitors with and without a digital display, giving users only the needed information. These fume hood monitors are designed to comply with industry standards such as NFPA 45-2000, ANSI Z9.5-2003 and SEFA 1.2-2002 requiring airflow monitors on all fume hoods.

SUREFLOW Adaptive Offset Controller

SUREFLOW™ room controls are designed to maintain room balance in Variable Air Volume laboratories by ensuring that the exhaust is greater than or less than the supply by a set volume. SUREFLOW controls also directly control heating and cooling in the space to maintain a comfortable temperature. TSI`s controls are able to go the additional step and close the loop on room pressure. TSI`s exclusive through-the-wall room pressure sensor measures the actual room pressure differential. The SUREFLOW controls use this information to reset the difference between the exhaust and supply air volumes to account for long-term changes in the building.

SUREFLOW Room Pressure Monitors/Controllers

TSI SUREFLOW™ Room Pressure Controls are designed to actually measure the room pressure differential used to prevent chemical vapors from escaping outside the lab. Monitor versions are used in constant volume laboratories to warn building occupants of operating deficiencies. Controller versions go a step further by modulating supply and exhaust air volumes to correct problems as they occur, while maintaining comfort and ventilation within the lab space.

Venturi Valves

Venturi Valves are the control devices used in conjunction with TSI`s SUREFLOW™ laboratory controllers. Venturi valves eliminate the need to use separate dampers and flow stations to control and measure air volume supplied to or exhausted from a space. Venturi Valves, unlike flow stations, do not require any straight duct runs to maintain flow accuracy. Venturi Valves can be mounted next to an elbow, transitions or branches without affecting accuracy! Furthermore, Venturi Valves are pressure-independent devices, meaning that the valve will mechanically correct for static pressure fluctuations without involving a controller.
