Environmental Particle Counters
TSI - Model 3750 - Condensation Particle Counter (CPC)
The gold standard in nanoparticle counting for many decades is now updated with newly extended size and concentration range.
TSI Condensation Particle Counters (CPCs) are the most referenced, backed up by 40+ years of experience. The 4th generation makes the best CPCs even better: Providing easier use for everyone with an intuitive direct-touch user-interface, new software and secure internal data storage for months of data. Improved performance, new features and diagnostics make it the best condensation particle counter in the market.
The Standard CPC model 3750 fits seamlessly into the family of four Butanol-based CPCs including the High Concentration, the Ultrafine Particle Counter, and the 1-nm model, and is fully integrated into the SMPS™ family model series 3938.
*SMPS stands for Scanning Mobility Sizer, another reference system by TSI to measure nanoparticle size distributions.

TSI - Model 3783 - Environmental Particle Counter
Ultrafine particles are omnipresent in our atmosphere, and their number concentration can be very strongly influenced by weather and local particle sources, such as traffic. The Model 3783 Environmental Particle Counter was developed especially for near-freeway monitoring, i.e. continuous observation in high-concentration environments.
Based on proven Condensation Particle Counter (CPC) technology the Model 3783 Environmental Particle Counter brings research-level products to routine monitoring stations. The design of this instrument considered everything from the variable configuration of the sampling inlet to mounting the instrument into the standard racks of monitoring containers. Utilizing water as condensing fluid makes it safe and convenient to use. Data gathered by the instrument is very easy to access. The robust design, field-friendly user-serviceable parts, and diagnostic tools make it a highly reliable choice for long-term ambient monitoring.
TSI - Model 3772200 - Sampling System for Atmospheric Aerosol Model
Sampling from ambient air is not trivial. Conditions such as temperature, humidity, wind speeds and wind direction are variable. Furthermore, diffusion losses particularly from the smallest particles can significantly change measurement results.
The Technical Specification CEN/TS 16976 aims at harmonizing the continuous measurement of particle number concentration in ambient air. It describes a standardized method not only for the Condensation Particle Counter (CPC), but also for its sampling and conditioning system. The Model 3772200 Sampling System for Atmospheric Aerosol is designed to match the requirements of CEN/TS 16976.
TSI - Model 3750-CEN - Condensation Particle Counter
As a first step in harmonizing the measurement of ultrafine particles (UFPs) in the atmosphere, the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) created the Technical Specification CEN/TS 16976. This standard defines a set of requirements for the Condensation Particle Counter (CPC). The CPC Model 3750-CEN is fully compliant with these technical specifications.
The new model builds on a multi-generation lineage of TSI full-flow CPCs, which have served as the gold standard in nanoparticle counting for several decades. The new updates extend the concentration range, provide an intuitive direct-touch user interface, new software, and secure internal data storage for months of data.
The 3750-CEN is now fully integrated into the Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer (SMPS) family. The SMPS model 3938W50-CEN enables ambient air monitoring stations to measure size distributions of ultrafine particles in compliance with CEN/TS 17434:2020.
