Filtration

WesTech - CenTROL® Conventional Gravity Filter

CenTROL® filters may be applied wherever a cost-effective, space-saving conventional gravity filter is desired. The heart of the General Filter CenTROL lies in the prefabricated center column that eliminates onsite assembly of a piping gallery. CenTROL furnishes its own backwash water supply from in-service cells. In most cases, backwash supply pumps are eliminated.

WesTech - Gravity Filters

Gravity filters are commonly used in applications where liquid-solids separation is required in a variety of different applications for finish water treatment. Gravity filters can incorporate various types of media such as sand, anthracite, greensand and GAC to meet each plant`s water treatment needs. In addition, gravity filters allow for easy inspection during operation and typically have a smaller profile.

WesTech - Multi-Tech™ Pressurized Package Treatment System

Multi-Tech™ Clarification & Filtration Systems in Packaged Pressure Configurations. Water filtration and clarification using the Multi-Tech system provides high quality water treatment with minimal footprint. Small foot print and modular construction makes installation and more cost effective. Less building space required.

WesTech - MULTICELL® Horizontal Pressure Filters

Filtration of Larger Flows with Horizontal Pressure Filters. MULTICELL® Horizontal Pressure Filters consist of a pressure vessel with an overdrain system for distribution of influent water and collection of backwash waste.

WesTech - Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) Pressure Filters

WesTech granular activated carbon (GAC) contactors are an effective means for removal of various-molecular-weight contaminants from aqueous solutions. They are especially suited for the removal of dissolved organic compounds responsible for poor taste and odor in drinking water, as well as removal of chlorine from industrial waters.

WesTech - Reverse Osmosis Systems

WesTech provides nanofiltration and reverse osmosis (NF and RO) membrane filtration equipment designed to meet your unique project requirements. Whether your treatment objective is for softening or to reduce dissolved solids, organics, or other target contaminants, WesTech has a solution.

WesTech - SuperDisc™ Disc Filter

The SuperDisc™ Disc Filter is a high-rate filtration process that fits into a compact footprint and requires less backwash than other filtration systems. The polyester filter media with a defined pore size deliver a quality effluent and high filtration efficiencies. The system is fully automated and continues to filter even during a backwash cycle. The design of the filter requires minimal head to drive the process and is ideal for retrofit applications into other filter basins or flow streams with limited hydraulic head available.

WesTech - SuperDrum™ Drum Filter

The SuperDrum™ is an automatic, self-cleaning microscreen filter designed for removal of suspended solids. Filtration opening sizes range from 10 microns to several hundreds of microns. Construction materials are chosen depending on water quality, with stainless steel, acid-proof steel, duplex steel, and FRP among the most common choices. The filter material can be constructed of either polyester or stainless steel.

WesTech - SuperSand™ Continuous Backwash Filter

The SuperSand™ Continuous Backwash Sand Filter is an up-flow, moving bed filter that is constructed with various media depths for different applications and configurations.

WesTech - Horizontal and Vertical Pressure Filters

WesTech pressure filtration systems are designed for both municipal and industrial water treatment where the removal of suspended solids such as particulates, iron, manganese, mill scale, and other precipitates in ground or surface water is required. Both MULTICELL® Horizontal Pressure filters and WesTech Vertical Pressure Filters consist of a steel pressure vessel with an efficient overdrain system for distribution of influent water and collection of backwash waste.
