Aqua Clear - Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems

Reverse osmosis systems are the industry standard when it comes to purifying water from water sources such as lakes, rivers, wells and municipal tap water. A RO system uses high pressure pumps that force water against the surface of a semipermeable membrane which allows passage of only water molecules.

Aqua Clear - Commercial Reverse Osmosis Systems

If you are looking for the top-of the-line, commercial reverse osmosis systems, then your search is over. Aqua Clear offers the best commercial reverse osmosis systems around. Our products are designed for efficiency and durability. Our reverse osmosis systems are designed for plug and play for most standard and individual commercial needs. The above commercial reverse osmosis system is combined with sediment and activated carbon pre-filters. Options for a water softener with brine tank, UV sterilizer, or antiscalant pumping system are available. Aqua Clear’s commercial reverse osmosis systems are designed to purify water by removing ions, particles and colloids and other impurities with great efficiency. Other uses of our systems include removal of bacteria, sugars, proteins, particles, dyes, and other constituents.

Aqua Clear - Nanofiltration Reverse Osmosis Systems

Nanofiltration is a membrane separation process which removes many dissolved high molecular weight compounds from the water feed. Nanofiltration membranes are also known as “softening membranes” because they will remove the hardness from feed water but leave the majority of the lower molecular weight ions in the water.

Aqua Clear - Ultrafiltration (UF) Membrane Treatment Systems

Ultrafiltration (UF) membrane treatment systems are designed to suspended solids and organic compounds from numerous water sources, such as lakes, rivers, ponds, well water, seawater, waste waters and gray water sources. Depending on the water source or application, the UF filtrate or effluent water is used in many applications that range from drinking water, utility water, reclaimed water, food and beverage production, and as a pretreatment method for source water for reverse osmosis desalination systems. Aqua Clear Water Treatment Specialists can custom engineer a high quality state of the art UF system capable of producing a million gallons per day. Each system is manufactured using only the highest quality components, ensuring our customers long life and easy maintenance of the system.

Aqua Clear - High Recovery Reverse Osmosis System (HRRO)

Using advanced membrane technology, Aqua Clear offers High Recovery Reverse Osmosis (HRRO).  With HRRO, Aqua Clear is able to achieve recovery rates greater than 85%; thereby, reducing brine waste discharge.  HRRO is a semi-batch process where permeate is constantly produced and the concentrate is continuously recirculated until the recovery setpoint is achieved at which point the brine is purged from the system using a fresh feed sweep.  The recirculation pump maintains high flow across the RO membrane minimizing the buildup of scalants on the surface of the membrane.

Aqua Clear - Seawater Desalination Reverse Osmosis Systems

As our fresh natural water supplies become more scarce we turn to other alternatives like sea water desalination. In many places around the world the only water supply is sea water and the need for fresh filtered water is dire. These types of applications are in high demand for a way to treat the water so that it can be used. With low energy technologies always progressing and with products becoming more environmentally friendly, such as membranes and pumps to name a few, the energy cost for running a sea water reverse osmosis system has become much more economical. Aqua Clear Water Treatment Specialists has years in expertise and manufacturing of commercial and industrial desalination reverse osmosis systems and watermaker systems for the marine industry.

Aqua Clear - Capacitive Deionization (CDI) System

Capacitive Deionization (CDI) is a deionization process used to desalinate feedwater (different than EDI used as a final polishing step in ultrapurification). CDI has the advantage of operating at a high recovery rate up 95% and at high temperatures above 45°C (110°F). The TDS in the permeate can be electronically adjusted. Applications for CDI include removing TDS from feedwater for use in cooling towers and boilers and from industrial wastewater for reuse. CDI is beneficial in the recovery and reuse of high temperature wastewater in industrial laundry applications.
