Raymetrics - Temperature and Humidity Lidar

Accurate profiling of atmospheric temperature and humidity is a prerequisite for many meteorological studies, including nowcasting, model evaluation, and assimilation. Unfortunately, existing instrumentation lacks either the temporal or vertical resolution required for such application. To fill this gap, Raymetrics S.A., a global leader in lidar (lidar detection and ranging) technology, is developing a new state-of-the-art temperature and humidity lidar instrument. Based on the lidar technique the new product can provide measurements of temperature and humidity from near the ground up to few kilometers, with spatial resolution down to few meters and time resolution of the order of couple of minutes. The measurements are based on accurate observation of the spectral signature of atmospheric molecules and their changes with ambient temperature. ISO 9001:2015 certified.

Raymetrics - Model LR111-D300 - Raman Depolarization Lidar for Meteorological Applications

The LR111-D300 model aerosol LIDAR is an active laser remote sensing instrument, designed to provide a wealth of information about the atmosphere, including unambiguous detection of volcanic ash. It can also provide detailed information on the Planetary Boundary Layer (PBL), including information for air quality and forecasting model validation. With a minor upgrade, the system can provide remote humidity profiling (dusk-dawn only). ISO 9001:2015 certified.

Model QOMA - Diode-Pumped Solid State (DPSS) Laser

Raymetrics S.A. together with National Technical University (Greece), Cilas (France) and Laser Centre of Hannover, LZH (Germany) designed, developed, manufactured, and tested a specific Diode-Pumped Solid State (DPSS) laser at 1064nm suitable for future ground-based, space altimetry and LIDAR missions.

PM Scanning Sensor

New era in remote PM Monitoring. Heavy industry mining and metal processing companies are constantly in search of suspended particles emissions mitigation solutions in order to minimize their relevant footprint. LIDAR technology can address this challenge offering remote sensing of aerosols at long distances with up to several kilometres’ radius of detection. Aerosols concentration and plumes dispersion 4D monitoring, characterization, source localization and load contribution, incoming (background) pollution monitoring and virtual fencing are the keystones that LIDAR technology is capable to offer for such applications. ISO 9001:2015 certified.
