The Odor Control System is a custom-designed product, created to effectively neutralize odors occurring in a specific location, facility, and specific business activity. The system is based on proven filtration methods such as activated carbon, volcanic lava, biofilters, and chemical scrubbers. Our team takes full responsibility for the neutralization process. We handle the entire process—from detailed research and analysis of pollution sources, through the development of a tailored design and selection of the most effective technology, to installation, commissioning, system maintenance, and regular service.

A carbon filter is a device used to remove pollutants from the air released by various types of equipment and installations: sewage pumping stations, expansion wells, wastewater treatment plants, biogas plants, solid waste sorting plants and landfills, animal farms, and all types of manufacturing plants. A carbon filter is equipped with a carefully selected activated carbon bed through which air flows, thereby purifying it. Airflow is forced by an exhaust fan. Depending on the intended use and the composition of the polluted air, we select the appropriate activated carbon, its mass, airflow, and other important device parameters.

A biofilter is a device designed to purify polluted air released from various devices and installations. Its operation is based on airflow through a specially selected biological filter bed, which effectively removes undesirable substances. This flow is forced by an exhaust fan. A key element of biofiltration is the microorganisms responsible for the purification process – their number and condition directly impact air purification efficiency. Biofilters, inoculated with microflora before startup, are ready for immediate operation, ensuring a high level of efficiency in eliminating unpleasant odors and harmful chemical compounds. Biofilters may include only a biological air purification stage, or they may be supplemented with additional stages, such as chemical precipitation in a water scrubber prior to biofiltration and/or adsorption on activated carbon after the biofiltration process.

A passive chimney filter is a device used to remove odors in facilities that are part of the sanitary sewage infrastructure. Chimney filters are most often used in sewage pumping stations, as the frequently changing sewage levels in the pumping station pits cause air to escape into the atmosphere, which can cause unpleasant odors in the surrounding area. The neutralizer is equipped with an activated carbon cartridge through which air flows and is purified. The device is a passive neutralizer, meaning it does not have an electric fan. Air flow is forced by gravity – either through the pressure difference inside and outside the pit or by sewage flowing into the facility, displacing air from the sewers, pumping stations, or pits.
