The adjustable footstep is compatible with any regular soil probes, soil recovery probes, and dual-purpose soil recovery probes that are 7/8" or 1". They are also compatible with 1" replaceable tip soil probes. Like built-in steps, the adjustable footstep allows for additional down pressure to drive the probe into the ground. The footstep can also be used as a stopping point to reach a specific sampling depth with a probe. Adjustable footsteps allow for deeper samples below the surface than step probes because the footstep can be adjusted to fit anywhere on a soil probe or extension. The footstep is made of zinc-plated steel. Adjustable footsteps do NOT fit 1-1/8" soil probes, AMS gas vapor probes, or tile probe extensions!
