This clevis pin secures hollow stem auger inner rods in place.

Hollow Stem Retainer Fitting w/ Pin Hole. The Hollow Stem Retainer Fitting is threaded onto the Hollow Stem Auger Inner Rod. Once threaded on, a Wire-Lock Clevis Pin will then be used to secure the Inner Rod in place.

Hollow Stem Flighted Auger Kits minimize the chance of cross contamination. Hollow Stem Flighted Auger Extensions are capable of creating a cased borehole that is 6' deep with an inner and outer diameter of 1-1/8" and 3", respectively. Soil, gas vapor, and groundwater samples may be collected through the cased borehole. The 7/8" X 21" Soil Probe allows for the collection of a soil sample through the Hollow Stem Flighted Auger Extensions. There is also a 1" X 24" Hollow Stem Soil Recovery Probe that accepts a 3/4" X 25-3/4" Plastic Liner for easy sample recovery. AMS Gas Vapor Probes may be used through Hollow Stem Augers telescopically, along with Bailers up to 1" in diameter. Bailers are used to collect groundwater samples.
