The Stainless Steel Bomb Sampler is used to obtain liquid samples from the top, bottom, or any intermediate level of storage tanks, tank cars, ponds, lagoons, and wells. The sampler`s capacity is 21 oz (628 mL). For discrete sampling, a suspension nylon rope (sold separately) is connected to the sampler body cable and used to lower the sampler to the desired depth. A second rope (sold separately) attached to the inner rod cable is pulled, allowing the reservoir chamber to fill. Releasing the rope allows the plunger to seal, holding the sample inside.
