The 12" & 24" X 20" Double Reinforced Infiltration Ring complies with the regulations and procedures outlined in the American Society for Testing and Material (ASTM International) D3385 standard. This method of testing is a straightforward, practical, and cost-effective method for field measurement of the infiltration rate of soils. Infiltration rates have applications in the field of liquid waste disposal, evaluation of potential septic tank disposal fields, and leaching and drainage efficiencies. They are also informative in determining irrigation requirements, water spreading and recharge, and canal or reservoir leakage, among other applications.
